<p><strong>Are there any Eclipse software users that are using a Diamante writer? If so, how do I get my dictionary onto the Diamante so the steno translates for my viewing on the screen on the writer? My Passport just died. :(</strong></p>

I'm trying to proof for a friend with a different software. She sent me the job in PDF & I'm trying to convert it so I can proof in Eclipse. I used to do this so I'm obviously missing a step. I go under Tools & Convert et cet. But when I open it in Eclipse, it's blank. What am I missing? Or is there another way to convert it?

<p>Does anyone have a suggestion for a mini computer or tablet that's in the $200 range that works well with Eclipse and provides good audio (I have Martel USB mic)? It would only have Eclipse on it; no mail, nothing else.</p>

<p>I'm trying to get information of files being deleted in V6. I just emailed Eclipse and the tech stated he had never heard of such a situation. I'm very hesitant to upgrade until I can get some clear answers....can anyone help?</p>

Hi all! Trying to arrange an Eclipse Version 5 seminar to take place in or near to New York in the coming months - please post if you'd be interested in attending and I will keep you updated on the progress as well as details, including where, when, and of course how much! First I need to establish that folks are interested!!! FYI, the person giving the seminar is Julie Samford of Realtime Ready. IF any of you know Julie you know we're gonna have tons of fun while we learn!

I'm planning on switching to Eclipse from CaseCAT. Has anyone out there done that? I would like some feedback, pros and cons. Thanks.

I need help with my audio settings. I went out on a depo yesterday, and my audio did not work in Eclipse on my IBM T43. I only use the internal mic, which has always worked wonderfully for me. I called tech support and was told to go into user settings under the realtime tab and click on "compression," select "SoundMAX Digital Audio," hit "O.K.," have the format read "PCM," and change my attributes to 11.025kHz, 8 bit mono. I would love to know what others have their attributes set to, the type of computer, and whether you are using an internal or external mic. Question about Eclipse software related to printing a PDF filetag:csrnation.ning.com,2009-04-16:1736041:Topic:10039882009-04-16T23:11:33.844ZCynthia M. I'm not an Eclipse user so I don't know the answer to this question. I did look to see if there was an Eclipse users group and didn't see one.<br />
<br />
I'm on Case and we have the option of printing to a PDF printer which creates a PDF file which can be emailed or printed. Does Eclipse have the same thing? If so, which version of Eclipse has that feature?

For those that stroke the "there,their, they're" is anyone happy with Eclipse's conflict resolution? I think early on when I was learning Eclipse I didn't know my 1, 2, 3 choices and I might have rules written that are wrong. I know I can wipe out the rules and start over and then when I'm happy, freeze the rules so they don't learn any more.<br />

Is anyone willing to share their rules for this conflict? I'd like to try a well established rule and just lock it down, freeze it. I guess to get it you…

<br />
I have done some studying on the way the conflict is learned. I know there is a keyboard combo you can hit to pick a conflict but skip the learning for that one time unusual rule you are overriding. I'd be happy if for common conflicts Advantage would preload in the best to date that someone has come up with and just freeze it. I'm not at all excited about deciphering the usage rules like "Adverb+Conjunction -- there--Forms of "can"" to see whether that rule is appropriate or not. It just seems like one wrong conflict choice because of a finger fumble, I hit 2 instead of 1, yikes, now I'm into which rule do I need to go fix or delete and when I do type the 1 when I mean to for the conflict choice is that now a duplicate rule?<br />
<br />
Let me know if anyone has conquered this or is willing to share a good locked down there rule. thanks
