Loaner Machine?

Hello, folks. The good news: I won a certificate for a free machine reconditioning from a reputable machine repair company. The bad news: I have to ship my machine across country to redeem the certificate. According to our carefully calculated plan, my machine will be serviced while I'm on vacation and returned in time for me to work again when I return, but just in case, does anyone in the Ventura County/ San Fernando Valley area have an extra computer-input steno machine around that they'd be willing to rent me for a couple of days (May 12, 13) if mine doesn't arrive as scheduled? I guess if worse comes to worst, really worst, I could go ahead and drag out my old manual steno machine and then re-input from the paper when I get my machine back, but that would be my last choice. Thanks for any suggestions.
