Welcome to CSR Nation
Hello everyone,
I just moved my work to a new desktop computer (Windows 7 Home Premium). When I try to use the foot pedal to listen to audio, nothing happens at all. When I use keyboard shortcuts to listen, nothing happens. When I go to the "Multimedia" tab and hit "Play," the "Access Violation" window opens up and when I click on it, it closes Eclipse all together.
Has anyone found a solution for this problem already? I have an Eclipse Support contract, but thought there might be a quicker, less frustrating way to solve this dilemma.
I have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium and everything works perfectly fine on it.
Thanks for your help.

That was happening to me when I had the internal mic on my laptop disabled. It would kick me right out of Eclipse. Check your playback settings in your Control Panel. It may be something in there.

Permalink Reply by Isabella Waegner on May 23, 2012 at 8:11 thank you all for your responses. Tech support was able to help me by linking into my computer. My foot pedal did not install correctly initially, which was problem No. 1. Also, Janet, you are right. One must have stereo mode enabled under the audio functions or plug a mic in. I am very glad to be up and running (editing) again.
Thank you again for helping,
Permalink Reply by Kelli Combs (admin) on May 24, 2012 at 20:08 I just got that again today and tech support told me it is because I disabled my internal microphone and I didn't have an external microphone attached when I went into a RT job. Yep, that was it!! I called for a completely different issue but that happened too.
