You might want to consider the scoping intern program which is offered through Scoping Made Affordable.

Scoping Made Affordable has different levels that accommodate where individuals are according to their previous background.

With your background you'll probably just need some brush up and some gap filling. At Internet Scoping School we offer various course plans in order to meet your specific needs. You can also purchase individual units of training according to your needs so you aren't paying for any training you don't need. We offer the option of testing out of certain modules so you can gauge what your current skill level is and whether you need additional training or not. Buy the Morson's Court Reporting book.(80 bucks) Get the Digital Cat software for scopists. (About 45 bucks.) List yourself under Digital Cat Scopists by saying you're new and ask a court reporter to bring you along. When you find a reporter that will give you a chance, ask her or him for a copy of a few of their transcripts and study them. After you do a few transcripts yourself, ask for feedback. Have a good attitude. Every reporter has a different style and preference. So you have to be flexible to work with.
