You are very welcome! Glad it was an easy fix. :)

Danielle, that was the problem.  I need to have the pedal plugged in before I open the program.  Thanks a million!!!  What an easy fix.  I really like that program.

Oh, maybe that was the problem.  I'll try that too.   Thanks again!!!

No problem, hope we get it figured out. Make sure that you plug the pedal in BEFORE you start FTR. Try closing and reopening after the pedal is plugged in. If you don't plug it in first, it won't register it.

Okay.  I'll try that.  Thanks, Danielle.  I really appreciate your help.  :-)

Okay, but it has to actually install it. Go to start, then click devices and printers. If you have Windows 7, it should be under unspecified as a VEC Usb footwear.

I hear the noise it makes when you plug/unplug a USB device.

When you plug the foot pedal in, the bottom right hand corner, it should say installing USB device.
Comment by Janiece Young on November 18, 2014 at 13:39

Where would it say that?

Comment by Danielle M. Starkweather on November 18, 2014 at 13:34
Janice, does your computer say that the foot pedal has been installed when you plug it in?
