Is there a newer version of the Diamante? I am considering buying one used from someone. Its about 3 years old but hasn't been used in 2 years. They sat in for the boards in NY and didn't pass. I…Continue

I've had the Diamante since September 2009 and it's the best steno machine I've ever had. Any other Diamante users out there? Join the group and let me know what you think, pros or cons.Continue

The manual that comes with the machine gives step-by-step instructions on how to set up your Diamante and load your dictionary.
I just bought a new Diamante. I literally took it out of the box yesterday. What do I need to do to get it ready to use at a job tomorrow?
I just bought a Diamante. What do I need to know to use it? How do I transfer my dictionary?
Thank you, Montrell! Didn't think of that!
Have you checked the amount of memory available on your SD card? If there is not an adequate amount of memory available, the audio will not record.
My Diamante audio is not recording. The settings are set for "on" but the little wave bar does not move. Anybody have this happen to them?
I just converted my Diamante to wireless. I connected through TP Link, available at Stenograph. I personally began having problems with wireless. But I also use the TP Link to connect to my iPads for realtime. Maybe it's just too much. I switched back to connecting my Diamante with the USB cable and continue to use TP Link with my iPads. You always have the option to switch back to cable, which is nice. I feel more secure knowing I have the wireless, if needed.
I have been interested in using the Diamante's bluetooth feature that is supposed to prevent us from using the USB cable to feed data from the machine to our laptops but have been weary to try it out on an actual depo. Is anyone using this feature, and if so, is it reliable?
Using the Diamante with Eclipse Version 126.96.36.199 and feeding with cable to my laptop. While I have my Eclipse job open, if I go to the settings on the Diamante to change the stacking/splitting section or to adjust an individual key, it stops the feed to my laptop. Anyone having that problem?
