Thanksgiving is just around the corner!  Amidst the organizing, cooking, wrapping, traveling, turkey, giving thanks, and family, let me be of assistance.  If you have any work that may be in the way, contact me today.  (Hey, that rhymes!)  You won't be disappointed!

Hi! I'm Tori.

I'm a proofreader and I'm wanting to help! I've been proofreading for a year now and have had experience with many different depositions. These include child custody cases, PMQ depos, real estate disputes, and more. I have personal experience with medical terminology and would be able to easily handle any medical depositions you may have.

Instead of using a tablet, I prefer to proofread by printing out the transcript, reading, and then typing up a simple document that lists all the errors. I've found this method to be the fastest and it also allows me to find the most errors. If you prefer that I use a tablet, though, I'd be more than willing to accommodate that.

A brief overview of my rates and turnaround.

Standard (48 hours or less): $0.40/page (printed); $0.35/page (tablet)

Expedite (24 hours or less):  $0.50/page (flat rate)

**No extra charge for weekends or holidays. Send me your transcripts at any time of day or night, just always be sure to let me know when you need it back.

I hope you'll reach out to me! Please email me at tgmproofreading@gmail.com or visit my LinkedIn page here

Have a great day!

Very busy reporter looking for up to six proofers.  Just the straightforward stuff:

Expectations:

Timely responses to my e-mails.
Good communication a must.
Deadlines must be met.
Strong punctuation skills.

Among all the other typical proofreading errors, the MOST IMPORTANT THINGS you will be expected to spot:
wrong speaker IDs
ensure by lines/speakers are re-identified after colloquy

Minimum one year experience (two years' experience preferred) proofing transcripts.

If you think you've got what it takes, send rates and turnaround to qdcsr at aol dot com.

Thanks.

Looking for a proofreader to help out with two transcripts that are expedite.  I need the pages to be sent back to me, or if you can do the line number page number thing, but I cannot do the proofing that has the comments in it.  That just doesn't work for me.   I need these proofed for content, punctuation, double Q and A, anything foreign.  Please let me know if you can help out, myscilyn@aol.com

Hi! If you're looking for a proofreader who loves her job, takes pride in making her work as flawless as possible, and has the utmost respect for the amount of hard work that YOU, the court reporter, puts into your job, then look no further. I am a firm believer in an open line of communication between a court reporter and their team, and I will do everything I can to help you meet your deadlines and to exceed your expectations.

I generally proofread by PDF, and I am available to do regular, rush, and expedited jobs. Also, I love working weekends, so I don't charge extra for it.

If you'd like to learn more about me, as well as my rates (including my discount for new clients!), please visit my website:  keeneyeproofreading.com

My name is Vincent Prewitt, trained Case CATalyst scopist and proofreader. I have an extensive amount of experience editing court transcripts, and I am a former transcriptionist.
While I have been trained and tested on the principles of Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, I will cater to your preferences should you have those.

Strengths:
Hard worker, very reliable
Attention to detail
Research
Communication

To get started, for scoping, I would need any and all files you use when you recorded the transcript (full audio, the actual sgngl file, dictionary files, globals, etc).
For proofreading, all I would need is the sgngl file. Alternatively for proofreading, I can do PDF or use track changes in Microsoft Word.
My schedule is open and available to take work right now and throughout the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Normal and expedite turnaround are being accepted at this time. Please send an e-mail to vinceproofs@gmail.com for any questions you have about rates or other general questions about my work.
I look forward to meeting your scoping or proofreading needs in the foreseeable future.
