Hello Reporters,

I was a 35-year plus CSR, living in Oceanside, CA, trained in Los Angeles, and have been scoping for reporters full time for over ten years now.  I use CASE CATALYST.   I am proficient in the English language, and my skills are excellent..  I am conscientious, meticulous, and very prompt.   I am well aware of the bells and whistles involved in reporting and comfortable working with full AudioSync.

I will work on the weekends and am available for expedites.  I am looking for overflow, part-time, or full-time work.   My page rates are reasonable, and I am regularly very prompt in my turnaround.

Please e-mail me at or telephone me at 619.750.2339.   I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.  Arleen Duckat

Comment by Wendy Andino on April 12, 2021 at 10:27

Hi!  My name is Wendy Andino. I'm a CA freelance CSR starting my 16th year.  Most of my jobs are WC or PI, but I take all other types occasionally.

My longtime CC scopist is getting ready to retire, so I'm seeking to fill her shoes.  She spoiled me in that her turnaround time was 1-3 days, never missed a deadline, and was almost always available to do a rough or expedite.  Her jobs were so clean I could almost forego proofing them.

My workload all depends on how well my scopist does, so my pages vary.  Typically, I take anywhere from 500 to 1000 pages a month. I pay immediately upon receipt of your invoice.

If you have room to add another reporter, please email me your rates, experience, turnaround time, etc.

I look forward to starting a new CSR/Scopist relationship.

Thank you,

Freelance reporter on Eclipse Version 9 here.  I'm looking to collaborate with an excellent Eclipse scopist who can work meaningfully on complex litigation.  Punctuality is everything.  I pay the same day you send your invoice, and I pay through Zelle.  If you can take on 400 or more pages per week on a consistent basis, please contact me so we can explore working together.  Thanks.  Sincerely, Lydia Zinn

OWCATS 411 is a new punctuation style guide created especially for those
who find grammar and punctuation challenging to learn.
It's downloadable, searchable, and updateable.
It contains many new formatting situations not covered in previous style guides.

Batman had Robin. Frodo had Sam. Harry had Hermione. As you tackle every transcript, you can have your very own sidekick as well! Who doesn't want someone who is always there, ready to put in the work to see that everything goes (and reads) smoothly?

If you could use a proofreading sidekick this new year, don't hesitate to email me at for your PDF proofreading needs.
