I just wanted to let other reporters know my experience working with Monnie Neely.

I have been a reporter for 27 years now.  I recently had an overnight expedite, and I reached out to Monnie for proofreading services.  She exceeded my expectations in every way!  She had my expedite back before it was due, her proofreading skills of my transcript were impeccable, and her rate was more than fair.

Monnie is very, very professional.  I believe she truly understands the time constraints and zero tolerance for errors under which we reporters work!

I highly, highly recommend Monnie Neely.

When I have a need for a proofreader, she will be the first one I call.

Hi! If you're looking for a proofreader who loves her job, takes pride in making her work as flawless as possible, and has the utmost respect for the amount of hard work that YOU, the court reporter, puts into your job, then look no further. I am a firm believer in an open line of communication between a court reporter and their team, and I will do everything I can to help you meet your deadlines and to exceed your expectations.

I generally proofread by PDF, and I am available to do regular, rush, and expedited jobs. Also, I love working weekends, so I don't charge extra for it.

If you'd like to learn more about me, as well as my rates (including my discount for new clients!), please visit my website:

Hi everyone. Just going to throw my hat into the ring here.

I'm Celeste and I live in Alabama but would love to work with CRs from anywhere and everywhere. I have a BA in English and proofreading experience, as well as writing experience, for a construction magazine. Sounds exciting and super interesting, right? I know that's what you're thinking. It really was. If nothing else, I knew the names of all of the construction equipment and even got to work a mini skid steer once. Yeah, they wouldn't let me on the big stuff unfortunately.

I would like to give you the opportunity to sit back and relax and let me do the proofreading for you. The first 10 pages are free for new clients. If you have questions or would just like to connect, please feel free to do so here or email me at I'm also on Instagram @cdavisdill and I have a business FB page @celesteddill.

Have a great weekend. Hope to have the chance to get to know many of you.

My name is Vincent Prewitt, trained Case CATalyst scopist and proofreader. I have an extensive amount of experience editing court transcripts, and I am a former transcriptionist.
While I have been trained and tested on the principles of Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, I will cater to your preferences should you have those.

Hard worker, very reliable
Attention to detail

To get started, for scoping, I would need any and all files you use when you recorded the transcript (full audio, the actual sgngl file, dictionary files, globals, etc).
For proofreading, all I would need is the sgngl file. Alternatively for proofreading, I can do PDF or use track changes in Microsoft Word.
My schedule is open and available to take work right now and throughout the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Normal and expedite turnaround are being accepted at this time. Please send an e-mail to for any questions you have about rates or other general questions about my work.
I look forward to meeting your scoping or proofreading needs in the foreseeable future.

      Proofreader/Court Reporter

If you’re  a court reporter, then you know that the transcript production demand has increased over the last 5 years or so.  And we are all working together -- court reporters, scopists, proofreaders, etc. -- to meet those demands.

I’ve been a court reporter for 12 years,  and I do use a scopist to help me with production.  This leaves plenty of time for me to proofread my own transcripts -- which I love -- and to also assist colleagues that need help proofing.

I was a proofreader for one of the largest court reporting firms in Chicago while I attended school, and it’s something that I’ve always had a passion for.  I love catching errors, researching words, and just seeing the final transcript come together.

If you are interested in hiring a proofreader, you can contact me for turnaround times and rates at: (312)307-1962 or (preferred)
