I've had many years of scoping experience on Eclipse 4.3 and 5, and I'm available to do word-for-word scoping, with or without full audio-sync.  I use the Gregg Reference Manual, but your preferences are  more important.   I am fussy about grammar, punctuation, spelling and timely turnaround.

If you want the help of an excellent scopist, please email me at lmedina1 @ optonline.net (without the spaces) for my rates and any questions you may have.  I'm looking forward to working with you!

Hi All,
I am an Eclipse scopist using 4.3 and the newer version 5.   I am currently looking to add another reporter.  It can be for your overflow transcripts or full-time, part-time, one time or whatever you need.
Please e-mail me for my rates and turnaround times.
Thanks,
Connie

I have to say, though, that as someone who did just post looking for scopists, I know I haven't responded to everyone who sent me an e-mail, but that wasn't intentional.  I posted in a rush and some of the e-mails, if I didn't initially flag them to contact back, got buried in my inbox and I haven't had a chance to sort back through them.  So if I didn't respond, it wasn't intentional, and I truly haven't had a chance to.

Thanks, Delicia!

And Barbara, you're right!  I kept the note she sent me so I'll remember who she is.

Comment by Barbara Mastroddi on March 21, 2012 at 8:05

This is true -- even if you can't use my services at this time, it would be nice to get some sort of acknowledgment.  Leslie, consider yourself lucky; even if the reporter can't use your services at present, at least s/he may be someone who may contact you later on (and, judging from her initial courtesy towards you, a good client).

Thanks, Leslie. Hope you get some good work!

Comment by Leslie Medina on March 21, 2012 at 7:58

I agree with Delicia on that.  Even if there were 100 responses, it's easy to send a form message just to say "Thank you."  I was shocked the other day to get a thank-you message and wrote to the reporter to comment on it!

Comment by Delicia Struss on March 21, 2012 at 7:50

Gotta say I'm just wondering why some people post they need help, contact them via e-mail, and then when you do, they don't have the courtesy to get back with you and say, "Thanks, but I found somebody."  I've taken time out of my schedule to respond to your post, after all.

I'm about to get buried alive.  I'm looking for an awesome "scoofer" on Eclipse 5.

I write fast, clean, and have never used audio.  I'm pretty sure I could figure out how to turn it on if you think you'd like it.

I can be reached at tamilfrazier@gmail.com.

I can do relatively quick turn around work, and overnight as well. I listen to all audio, rather than just segments for clarification. I am very flexible and willing to work with your needs.  Let me know what I can do for you.

I am willing to try to do what you need, if you are willing to try my services.

I'm looking for a scopist immediately to scope at least 200 pages of a deposition I took on Thursday. It's a sexual abuse case of a minor (who's 18 now), but this is civil, not criminal, and this testimony is the parents and dives very little into the actual abuse and more who the parents talked to and time frames. There is 160 pages of the testimony of the minor, which is super clean, but it is emotional at parts, if someone were willing to do that. I do need a scopist the testimony of the parents, though. I can do the minor myself, if need be. Please e-mail me at aw.kroert@gmail.com with your rates and turnaround time. Thanks! One a lighter note, I'm looking to build a long-term relationship with a scopist. And let me clarify that sexual abuse cases are NOT the norm in my field. I do a lot of worker's comp, medical, and everything else that comes with the civil arena. I work in rural Kentucky a good bit, so you need to be comfortable with southern accents, but on the up side, the lawyers like things simple and they play nice. I write clean and if I don't, I clean up the transcript before sending it out.

Help me stay busy - please! I work best under pressure. I'm a reporter on a per diem basis in the same court since '95. I use Eclipse, Dropbox, yousendit, T3, etc. I'm off work for spring break. If I don't have enough scoping to keep me busy, I might get fat and lazy -- and drive my son nuts to stay at home with me instead of hanging out with his friends. Please e-mail me for rates, turnaround, or any more info. From my husband and son, thank you!  :)

Very experienced reporter with some time on my hands!  I've been reporting depos for 22 years and pro-temming in court for a year.  I'm not getting a ton of transcripts in court (and pro-tem rates in court are not particularly high), so I'd like to take on some scoping.  My turnaround is lightning fast and my rates are shockingly reasonable :)  I prefer scoping your work to my own.  I don't know the ending in your story!  My normal habit is to spot check audio when something looks "off," and I will do full audio scoping when requested for a higher rate.  Please e-mail me at lynpenfield@cox.net and help stop my Bejeweled Blitz addiction!!!  I'm on Eclipse V, but I can still accommodate Eclipse IV.

Wrote an earlier post in search of a scopist.  Forgot to put contact information.  I'm on CaseCatalyst.  Need an experienced scopist who will always listen to full audio and is able to turn certain jobs around in three days.  Prefer someone who was/is a court reporter.  Please contact me at ivoryf31@yahoo.com with rates and experience.  Thank you!

Comment by Dolly Hall on February 17, 2012 at 14:56

I have 40 years of experience in the court reporting industry either typing or scoping.  I have both Case Catalyst  13 beta and Eclipse 5 software. I love daily copy and expedite work and have been fortunate enough to work on high-profile daily cases in federal court, such as Arthur Andersen, Enron and presently Allen Stanford. Although I prefer expedites, I am always willing to take on any job.  I have an FTP site to receive large files and use Dropbox as well.

If you need a scopist who will strive for perfection in your transcript according to your preferences and who is like a pitbull when it comes to research, look no further.
