Hi, I'm Reporter on Case Cat. I'm looking for a scopist for one transcript. It

is a psychiatrist.  If you don't have medical terminology in the field of psychiatry, please

don't contact about this assignment. It's only about 30 pages and I have gone through it from top

to bottom already. there are a few spots I couldn't grasp what he was saying, so if we both don't know, not going to be of much help. Thank you. email Michelle at calendar@universalreporters to help for this one assignment. thank you.

I have been a court reporter for almost 20 years.  I have my RPR and am current with CEUs and attend conferences and keep up with the industry.  I am making a cross over from reporting to scoping and proofreading.  As a court reporter, I understand the need to meet deadlines and produce a quality transcript.  I worked both as an official court reporter and freelance.  My entire career was in Florida and I covered trials, hearings, depositions and reported for the Governor, House and Senate. I am now on the west coast and looking for scoping and proofreading work.  I am on Eclipse and have been for 20 yrs but am not opposed to purchasing a different edit station if the work/demands justify the expense.  I also am very computer literate and am interested in doing remote realtime, etc.  If you would like to speak to me or have additional questions, please feel free to contact me at kwoffordlegal@gmail.com

Hello, everyone.  I am a new scopist hoping to create relationships and learn from others on this site.  I completed my scopist training course with the Baton Rouge School of Court Reporting, and I utilize Eclipse v6 and Case CATalyst v15.  I am retired from a 17-year career in law enforcement and will now scope full-time.  If you are looking for a scopist, please visit my website at www.firstchoicescoping.com to learn more about me, my training, rates, etc.  I can do regular turnaround or expedites.  Thank you!

Hello!  I am a scopist who has been trained directly by Court Reporters working for TSG Reporting in NYC.  I am mainly using Eclipse 6 right now (I Love Connection Magic!!), but am also skilled in CaseCatalyst.  I am looking for a few more reporters to work with, ideally someone with whom I can build a long term working relationship.  I am a hard worker, a bit of a perfectionist, and a fairly geeky grammarian ( I used to teach grammar). I am also a certified paralegal.

I know that each reporter has style preferences, and am always open to constructive criticism.  Please feel free to contact me at any time.  corinda@corindabravo.com.  Thank you!

I am a new Scopist using Case Catalyst14.  I have been scoping for one reporter for almost a year, but I need more work.  I am looking for a reporter who is willing to give me an opportunity to work with them. Years ago (before everything was computerized) I was taking court reporting classes and worked part-time as a notereader for two reporters. I typed transcripts on an IBM Selectric typewriter. When I was offered a job at a very good salary as administative assistant to the Deputy Superintendent of a high school district, my reporters told me to take it. They said I would have pay raises, sick leave, vacation days, medical, etc., which they did not. I took the job but no longer had the time to noteread.

I am now retired and have taken a refresher course in legal transcription. I graduated from the U.S. Career Institute and I am ready to work. I have the old-fashioned work ethic, which means I don't play until the work is done. I will make every effort to get your job completed on time.

My name is Camilla, but everyone calls me Millie.

You can reach me at 928-580-8254 or whereverwepark@yahoo.com

Lisa, it's a way for the reporter to search an item identified by the scopist for him/her to check.  They can easily do a search in the transcript which will automatically stop at that scanstop.  If you are on CaseCATalyst, I can tell you how to mark it and/or how to search it. Nice little tool.  Feel free to e-mail me if you need help. cafolsom@pacbell.net.

Hello,

SPS, Scoping Proofreading Services, is ready to scope/proof for you!  Available 7 days a week.  SPS is able to scope/proof with CaseCAT or using Word (changes can be tracked in Word).  Pretty much any software system can use Word by converting their transcript into an RTF file.  SPS has experience with medical, technical, trials, commission board hearings, nursing board hearings, you name it!  Contact scopingproofreadingservices@gmail.com for more information.

Scopist/proofer in CaseCAT, 17 years of experience... various personal circumstances of two or three of my reporters leaving the stable have once again caused the need for a casting call!  I charge the industry standard rates for straight proofing without audio and scoping/proofing with audio.  I am thorough, and listen to every word.  I research terms!  I do everything I can to attempt to make the reporter's back-end processing smoother.  I have been working recently in asbestos and transvaginal mesh trials, along with the usual assortment of medical and financial depositions to keep me busy.  If you don't need me at present but you know someone who does, please spread the word... Thanks!  Bob betabob@comcast.net

I am a former Registered Professional Reporter with over ten years' experience in taking depositions, hearings, and trials in civil-litigation matters, including medical and technical testimony.  I stopped working when I had my kids, but I am now eager to start working as a scopist now that my kids are older.

I am using Case CAT Version 15 and do have a support contract for the latest versions available.  I will always listen to full audio using AudioSync or Express Scribe Pro.  I understand the importance of making a professional, verbatim record of the proceedings and will do all of the research for you and build your dictionary.

Please visit my website at http://christinescoping.weebly.com or contact me at christinescoping@centurylink.net if you are interested in more info.

I look forward to hearing from you!

I am California CSR 9822 and have worked as a court reporter since 1993 doing depositions, arbitrations, mediations and civil trials. After taking time off to be "booster" mom to my two daughters I find myself an empty nester and wanting to offer Case CATalyst scoping or proofreading services. During my "off" time I did CATalyst editing and proofing for some court reporter friends but would like to add to my clientele. I am on the most current version of Case CATalyst and I have a two computer, two printer home office. As a long-time reporter, I understand the ins and outs of the business, I am reliable, professional and do all the necessary research to help make your product the best it can be. Please check out my website and/or contact me at cafolsom@pacbell.net or (714) 328-1309.

Thanks,

Cari Folsom
