I've been doing work for an agency who now owes me $7,000+ going back almost a year. I would hate for a reporter to take a job with this agency without being forewarned.....

Have another agency that now owes me from 3 months ago, and I foolishly kept taking on work from them - medical experts, rough ASCIIs, fed ex'ing exhibits on my dime; the whole bit. I get a long song & dance when I call asking for $. Just last night through this site I learned about bad pay/good pay on the other site and joined and immediately saw so many reporters bitching about them and sharing the same story. Wish I had checked them out before I worked so hard for them. This agency I'm now writing about has initials for their name, so I don't want to write those initials here. Afraid I have to hire an attorney now.......

Had to look at your profile to see where you're from, because I could have written what you wrote. And, yes, you're from California also! And I'll bet we're talking about the same b-----.Aside from her horrible, disrespectful attitude, she never paid me for a copy on a medical expert, and only finally paid on the original after I nagged her.
No one should help her, ever!
