Hi Irene! I just wrote a message, and I don't know what I did, but it's lost. Anyway -- hi! I miss everybody! I was looking for a scopist. Do you still scope? Is that your cute hubby? Laurie told me you had gotten married.

Hi Niki, nice to hear from you. I work mostly subbing in Montgomery County and I love it there too ! I travel some to surrounding counties, and that's OK with me too! And I'll help out with scoping if someone needs me!

My name is Niki Garcia, and I've been a reporter since 1985. I'm self-employed, but I only work in court as a substitute. Collin County is my only "client," and they keep me plenty busy. If I should need scoping services in the near future, how much do you charge per page?

If someone orders a transcript and they pay full price (an original and one) Any copy ordered after that is 1/3. Whoever orders first pays for an original and one copy. Anyone ordering after that is copy rate of 1/3.
Hope that answers your question !

i meant to say if the PLAINTIFF purchases an original and then a copy at 1/3 the original price... (i said copy twice in there but that's not what i meant)

Irene, I didn't know if you were subscribed to that thread or not that I started but I had another question for you about transcripts...
since you're in Texas... I am trying to find out for sure if the PLAINTIFF purchases a copy of the transcript , then that is at full price. If PLAINTIFF wants another "copy" it is to be 1/3 the cost. But I also understand that if the DEFENDANT orders a transcript then this is also considered an "original" and sold at full price as well... even though the PLAINTIFF may have first technically ordered and paid the court reporter for it. So what I'm saying is: Do the Plaintiff and Defendant have to both pay full price for the initial copy if they each want one?
