Great news about your work load!

Jon, I had an all-day depo today - 20 exhibits. I'm so glad you were able to figure out the indexing. I tweaked mine a few months ago, but need to do some fine tuning myself. When I worked for a few different firms, they wanted their index a certain way. It sent me scurrying back to the manual, but it's really kind of a trial-and-error process. I'm also doing a bit of cutting and pasting, but must stop that and do it right.

So does this mean that you're getting some steady work these days? Hope so! Business has definitely picked up for me. I'm a little too busy. It's such a fine line!

Debra Maples said she scoped something for you. That's great! I've been "forcing" her to learn some of my editing macros. I'm pretty sure I sent them to you a while back. But I won't nag - don't worry!

Jon, I'm bummed! Normally I'd love to help you, but I'm in such a rush with jobs to get out. I have an all day tomorrow as well. If things calm down by Monday - I plan to work all weekend - I'll get back to you.

I have a very basic index, but it is automatic. I learned it by getting Keith Vincent's tutorial. I see he's doing a two-part webinar. Did you get the email from him??? I'll forward it to you. I'm trying to make the mail or I'd yak more. If you post in the Total Eclipse group here, someone may be able to help you out today.

Hey, Jon - Thought I'd stop by here and say hi! You're right around my daughter's age, you know? She's 27 and just got engaged to a really nice guy who is raising his 6-year old daughter on his own and has since she was about 4 or 5. Anyway, glad to have connected!
