Hi Everyone!

I need some help.  I just got a Notice to prepare transcript on appeal in the mail today from the court.  I never got one of these before.  It looks like the attorney put in a deposit of $100 already. 

But the notice states "the primary reporter must notify counsel/part, transcript services, and the Civil Appeals Unit within 15 days if the amount on deposit for reporter's fees is insufficient." 

Okay.  What do I charge for a minimum…

I took my first depo last week and was asked to mark a motion. I'm totally clueless and not sure what that means. Can anyone please help me? I was thinking it was possibly doing a certified question page and adding it to that, but I'm not sure if that's right.

Hey All!  I just wanted to get some input on the outlook for the scoping field.  I have been in the scoping business for 20 plus years, full-time and part-time.  I have my own scoping business.  But due to the economy downfall in the past few years, I have only been able to do it part-time, if you want to call it that.  I have since had to take a job as a legal assistant to supplement the income.  My question is:  Is there enough work out there to go back to scoping full-time, or should I…
