Hi, Kathy. I'm not sure if you're still looking for a scopist, but if so, I'm available. I only work with one client at the moment, and she is very consistent as far as sending me work to do. I could use a second client since right now times are a bit rough. If you are interested, I can give you my current client's contact information as a reference.
I've been scoping other people's work for the last decade-plus, and I scoped for 15-some-odd years before that, doing my own work as an official reporter. When I started as a freelancer before my officialdom, well, we were still dictating our notes with a stenorette, so we won't go there.
Hi, Kathy. Just throwing my hat into the ring. I've been a scopist for about 4 years now in the Chicago area. I just lost a reporter because so I'm always looking for more work!! Turnaround times and rates are very competitive. Please contact me if you still need the help. I'd love to help you out!

I will scope ten to 15 pages gratis as a preview of my work for potential clients. If you're interested, let me know.

That's very cool you got a job from here! Starting Monday I'm going to start captioning a Reading class at Delta Jr. College in Stockton. I'm TERRIFIED of realtime, so we'll see how it goes. I got the job through a friend of mine who is like a captioning goddess! She runs her own business, and I took her class last year. She has total confidence that I can do this, but I'm still scared! I just figured it would be nice to have some actual money coming in, since I think the OAH jobs are going to take awhile to get paid for. Well, I'm glad this site is working the way it should for you! talk to you later :D
Hi again! I've been working for Huntington Court Reporters. They're based out of Pasadena. I've been doing Office of Administrative Hearings. They're administrative hearings for people with various licenses that are either getting their licenses revoked or being reprimanded. So they go before an administrative judge to plead their case. It's interesting because it's all different types of hearings anything from smog techs to nail techs. so it's been interesting. I've only been working for a month. The only bad thing is they tend to cancel a lot, but I guess that's true for depos too. Well, I hope you're having a good week!
