Hey there,
I'm in NYC. I attend NYCI in lower Manhattan. Where did you attend school? I am planning on switching to an online training course due to cost issues with my current school. Any suggestions?
Hey Kat, haven't spoken to you in a while. I've been MAD busy, as I'm sure you have as well. Just wanted to drop you a line, Sorry I missed the 4-voice in bklyn. I woke up very sick that moring.
Hey Kat, I got your message about saturday. Thank you. I've been in school and haven't seen you. I will try to be there tomorrow. I just got to call my boss today and let him know that I will be in late tommorrrow
Great hearing from you. I'm feeling better and I went back to work last night for the first time in five weeks. Lots of medical follow-up to do and I'm looking forward to getting back on the machine soon.
Hope you're cruising through class. Say hi to everybody. :))

Yes, I have heard that it's hard to practice while working. I expect to stay in school until I'm at 225 but we'll see.
Not only is my dad a great reporter (retired now) but my mom is too. My dad, Santo Aurelio, wrote a great grammer book which he sells online and at conventions. My parents met in steno school so yes, it's in the blood. I use to type transcripts from the dictations years ago.
I'm full-time days now and hope my recent Realtime Coach purchase gets me through faster.
Kathleen,
Thank you for the congratulations. I would not even worry too much about graduating. You are WORKING!!! You will get there. You are absolutely correct. You have to throw yourself out there. The reporter I am sitting in with told me the same thing. She said once you get through your first job, your good to go. I really don't have the fear factor. I am in the process of getting my new writer and software, which I should have already. That is one of my biggest faults; I am a huge procrastinator, which you cannot be in this
business, otherwise, someone else will take your jobs.
I love the courts on LI. The Judges are great, and I know I can handle what I am doing right now.
Kathleen, it is great to see you are working before you have graduated school. I graduated in May, and I am just sitting in right now on DWI seizures in court. I am glad to see there is work out there. There are a lot of graduates from my school (LIBI) who are not working.
Hey, Kath, you're welcome. It was great having you thre to help me out. I look forward to you coming to future events and participating and helping me out. Thanks for being there for me.

Have a nice Thanksgiving.
It's great that you're working. All depos? Any hearings?
Have you tried Realtime Coach. I just got it and I'm sure it'll improve my realtime.
I'm now testing at 140 and practicing a lot. Any school advice in hindsight???
