Ah. It's going. Only a few places were hiring for full time depo reporters. Everyone else could put me on an overflow list, with no training. Both places that offered to hire me I'd only heard negative things about (even from Mrs. G--shh) I did go to one interview anyways, and though obviously the pay was good, the work environment wasn't all that great. Right now I'm waiting to hear back from a private investigation firm that might hire me as a transcriber for his investigative reports, and on top of that would run film from his outings and I'd converse with him over radio, running drivers plates and such. So, sounds interesting, and it'd be full time and all that, so I'll take it (if I get it), and see how things go.

I'm currently enrolled in Simply Steno. It goes by 10 wpm increments. When I originally started school a long time ago (I've stopped a few times and am back again...LOL) I think four-voice started around 140. Simply Steno doesn't have four-voice in it unless you request it....and even then he won't give it to you until 160 I think.

Hey Natalie...I saw your post about MP3 drills. I'm currently working on my 150/160's. Just wanted to suggest to you the Speed Teacher program if you don't already know of it. It's off the www.courtreportinghelp.com site. I think it's about $25.00 maybe, for the download. I don't use it near enough, but when I do, I notice a difference....great drills on there! :)
