Hi Shannon,
I am new to CSRnation and was browsing the court reporters section and came across yours. The reason I am writing you is because (1) I saw that you were from San Antonio; (2) I wanted to inquire about the court reporting field in San Antonio.
I am from Los Angeles and will be making the move to San Antonio in the near future. I am currently a student in my 200's. How are the jobs out there? And what are the going page rates? Your response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Shannon, with gas prices the way they are, and your town so laid back you can tie your horse to downtown hitching posts, maybe you ought to dust off your saddle, throw on her pack and get riding to your jobs! I am only partly joking! ;)
Hi Shannon! I know you commented to me a while ago, haven't been on. Your slide show pictures are great! I can't believe you haven't ridden in four years! Your horse is a lawn pet. :) Without my horse to ride, I'd sure be stressed! Hope your practice is going great!
Ah, we had a Brittany named Scout, but had to have him put to sleep last year. The one on my page is Gibson, he's 7. We also have a lab mix named Sadie. She is 14 1/2 and doing great but can't hear at all!
Great to hear from you. Hope all is well in the hill country. I'm now working full-time reporting again, but Keith and I will be having our fall seminars. I'm not doing any more out of state ones. Yippee!!!
Hi Sandy,
Good to hear from you. Hope you're doing well as well. New marriage is good. Shane is a teenager now and a BIG FAT pain. I think you've almost got a 4 yr old now. Wow how time flies. Yes, Tina is with us now. She's giving me a run for my money on turnaround time. I'm allowed to do overflow, so keep me in mind when you need a reporter. I believe they still have my number. They called several months ago, but I couldn't take it. I wondered where you went. I get to talk to Tammy every once in a while...just hello, how ya doin...when I call over to Gracie's.
Good to hear from you. Don't be a stranger. Email is shanlynn7718@aol.com.
Hi there lady! How have you been doing? I'm working at San Antonio Court Reporting now. I'm sure you've run into Tina. She's working over there with you. How is your new marriage and your son doing? Fine I hope. Well I better get to work now. Talk to you soon.
lol I commented to you but on my own page -- such a newbie here. Here was my comment back to you:
"Yeah. We've been working on it for some time. It's right around the corner but I'm glad our state assoc. has come through for us with something.
And thanks. The dogs are my "boys" :). "
Nice to meet you, too. I was under my maiden name then, Montooth. Do you work for a firm? If so, who? It seems like I worked for just about everybody. If you ever come across Collis Broussard, tell him I said hello.
Kelli, you'll be surprised. That is what keeps the stress of your body and keeps you from getting tired, besides the missing up and down action, is having it sit in your lap. There is a tripod available for it if you want it. No way for me, that's just somethng else to carry. You'll feel like you forgot something when you go on your first job. I carried my old writer with me for about a month until I was 100% comfortable. I'm looking forward to the updated writer.
