I

sent an inquiry to tech support for this Ning network because that is not supposed to happen.  I will let you know what I find out.

In the meantime, if it bothers you that much, you can hit at the bottom "I don't want to receive any emails from CSRnation."  I am sure that would help.

I have mine unchecked and I don't get any emails from groups.

Then I don't know what to tell you.  You should not be getting them.   You could go to that group and hit the tab "stop following" and you won't get notifications.  Other than that, don't know what to tell you.  Sorry.

Make sure the box is "unchecked" called "A new member joins."  It is at the bottom under "Activity."

Hi, Christine

Go to your settings in the box in the upper right-hand corner, then hit on "email" and then all these boxes will appear.  Make sure the box that says something like "email me when someone joins my groups."    Can't remember the exact wording.  Anyways, make sure that box is NOT checked.   Also look through all those boxes and make sure you have check marks only where you want them.

Check your email, but do so with some time on your hands. Oh, and ignore the typos, it's late. Also, I think I said "dictation" room when I meant "transcription" room, while describing his setting up the night before.

Christine,
Just dropping you a "quick" note. I will email you this weekend because I have a lot to share with you and I always have too much to say and then I get cut off. Just a teaser for now...Trevor said the test was "AWESOME!!!"

Christine,
You had a busy month???? Wow...you're like the only one I have heard that from....as is my usual custom..I call a bunch of agencies Wed-Fri of the week prior and also send out emails to each of the agencies of my available dates for work..and everyone says this week is slow....I only have two of my own client Tues and Wed....this week....write me an email at toomuchvita@aol.com..so I can get your email so I can inform you weekly of my available dates...unfortunately, I don't get much work from CSRNation..as I don't have a Blackberry, hence I'm not always online to get a last minute depo booking...I think it's only worked once two wks ago...for Barrett..and that's cuz I was checking emails early in the am...my typical time to do that...and secured a last minute dr depo in LL....it was fast and furious and expedited..so it was worth it...Anyhow...yeah, if you can send me an email...then I can get your address.....and tell you of my available dates..and then maybe you can call me with that reminder....

Busy is good. Aw, tell her congratulations for me! That's so exciting. I'm happy for her. Yeah, it's probably good she doesn't have one yet then. It can be a little distracting being on here, but it's helpful and a good networking tool. Like right now I should be studying hah:) Well, it was good catching up. Take care and please tell Megan I say hi:)

I'm doing well, thanks. Work is awesome. I love reporting and the flexibility freelancing gives me. I try to stay as busy as possible. I'm back in school, too, finishing my AA and maybe going beyond that. We'll see. I'm kind of addicted to learning right now.
How is work for you? How is Megan doing?? Does she have a page on here?

Oh, and my littlest one turns eight on Thursday, so we're doing the party thing on Sunday. Cole and Cade are pretty darn close to being exactly ten years apart.

Oh, and our jury trial now should wrap up tomorrow, so we'll start picking another on Thursday, I think. Might see Terry then.

Congratulations Megan and your whole family!!

How exciting is that!!

We just attended a wedding on Friday night at the Mission Inn. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! And of course it helped the excitement level as that's where we were married 27 years ago.

Came back telling my boys one of them has to get married there. HA!

We spent the night there. So glad we did. Still grinning big just thinking about it.

Anyway, have fun surfing with the younguns!

I hope the beach was fun! Thanks for the invite.

Cole turned 18 today, so we took him to Sunday brunch at Temecula Creek Inn yesterday.

Time's flying!!

I loved Kathy Kerrigan. I actually sat right next to her on the written portion of the CSR.

Funny story:

They called time without warning on the reading comp. I was on 52 out of 60 questions. They were all miserable up to that point and I was guessing my best.

I look over at Kathy, after I had huriedly put Bs on the eight I hadn't gotten to, and saw Kathy made it to 40 out of the 60.

I said under my breath, "Fill them in. I'll watch out."

She zoomed through the Bs on 20.

They later decided they goofed, not giving us a stop warning AND giving such an extremely difficult reading comp, so they threw out the whole test. Only reason I know that is none of us failed it.
