Busy court reporting firm with an office in San Francisco is looking for experienced (5 years+) reporters to cover a variety of jobs, in the Bay area, from San Francisco, down to San Jose, back around to Santa Cruz, Oakland, and Marin County.  Loyal clientele and work on a daily basis.  Flexibility to take last minute jobs is always a plus, as is being a RealTime writer, but not required.   If you are interested in the position and feel that you may be a good fit with our company, please send a resume/cover letter in a private message on CSRNATION.

Thank you!

You know, after reading the Video Deposition and Scopists discussion yesterday, I thought I would offer my services.  If you need a scopist to scope a video deposition or an expedite, let me know.  I DO and PREFER to listen to full audio.  I prefer it because I am a perfectionist and I want every transcript as complete as I can send it.  I do have references in relation to my work ethic and I have long-term reporter clients.  I use Stenocat or can import and export rtf or pdf files.  I read notes.  I went to college for Court Reporting.  I completed all but my speed for my CR degree, which I dropped out at 150 Q&A, but graduated with a dual degree in Business Admin and Word Info Processing.  I can still [and have considered] going back for my speed, but seeing how hard it is as a scopist and how much work court reporters have cut out for them, I choose not to.  I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majored in MIS, minored in Management.  I am expanding my business soon and will be letting all know.  www.preferredscopingnetwork.com is still a temporary site, but I am working on it.  reina.crowe@gmail.com or scoping_station@cox.net.

I'm looking for a scopist immediately to scope at least 200 pages of a deposition I took on Thursday.  It's a sexual abuse case of a minor (who's 18 now), but this is civil, not criminal, and this testimony is the parents and dives very little into the actual abuse and more who the parents talked to and time frames.  There is 160 pages of the testimony of the minor, which is super clean, but it is emotional at parts, if someone were willing to do that.  I do need a scopist the testimony of the parents, though.  I can do the minor myself, if need be.  Please e-mail me at aw.kroert@gmail.com with your rates and turnaround time. Thanks!

One a lighter note, I'm looking to build a long-term relationship with a scopist.  And let me clarify that sexual abuse cases are NOT the norm in my field.  I do a lot of worker's comp, medical, and everything else that comes with the civil arena.  I work in rural Kentucky a good bit, so you need to be comfortable with southern accents, but on the up side, the lawyers like things simple and they play nice.  I write clean and if I don't, I clean up the transcript before sending it out.
