I need a proofer preferably on CC but someone good who will read every word and not scan -- don't laugh, it's happened!

two wits, 50 pages each.  Easy.  Need back either tonight or tomorrow bc (a) it's a rush and (b) I have a depo in the morning!

My name is Kate, and I am an eagle-eyed Proofreader - English teacher, with degree in languages.  I spent 20+ years as a Legal Secretary and Paralegal, specializing in PI/Insurance Defense litigation, also construction defects and asbestos litigation.  I also summarize medical records, when needed.  I will email your errata sheet within 2 days, unless you require next day turnaround - that will cost you more, but my rates are reasonable.  I'm in California and you can reach me at kitzeleh@gmail.com.  Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone!

My name is Caitlin and I am a professional proofreader of three years and a certified personal trainer living in Orlando, Florida. I independently contract with a bunch of reporters and agencies throughout the state providing top-notch digital proofreading. I can provide you with either an errata OR I can mark and highlight directly onto your PDF transcript. Can't convert to PDF? No problem! I'll convert your ASCII file for you. My turnaround is ridiculously fast, and I'm so thorough it's almost annoying! Just kidding. You'll love me. Let me know if you would like some references, rates, or just want to say hi by emailing me at caitlinpyle312@gmail.com

Having provided straight proofreading services for ten years, it is time for me to get caught up with the times and provide additional services.

I recently purchased a scopist license from digitalCAT because it was recommended by a reporter in West Virginia who wanted to use me as backup during a month-long trial to proofread with audio and make corrections directly in the software program.

I am interested in hooking up with digitalCAT reporters who have been reporting for at least five years. Still doing straight proofreading on paper, so please contact me for that service as well.

Thank you.

Not sure how this works now on CSR Nation! But I am a proofreader looking for some work. Am a NALA paralegal with 12 years of experience proofreading for attorneys and have been proofreading for court reporters for the last two years. I love it! Was formerly a med tech for 15 years and have a BS in science education, so I have a very strong legal, medical and science background. Also speak multiple romance languages so I have a strong Latin/Greek background. Will do your research and indexes at no extra charge. barbie.clifton007@sbcglobal.net. Thank you!

I'm looking for a proofreader (or two) for two depos, one's 87 pages, the other is 159 pages.  It's the same case, husband and wife.  I need them back by tomorrow, Sunday, at 4pm.  I'm on Eclipse v5, in case you work in a CAT system.  If you're available, send me your rates.  Also tell me how you make your corrections (errata sheet, mark/scan pdf, directly in CAT).  Thanks.  j u d y r u n e s @ yahoo . com (no spaces, obviously).

I do not have CAT equipment but I have been transcribing audios for court reporters into Microsoft Word with Start Stop and a foot pedal and headset and it works very well! Please consider me when you want a fast turnaround, accurate formatting and a reasonable price per page. I can be reached at metatauta@hotmail.com.  Thanks

CaseCatalyst Proofer/Scoper with 14 years of deadline pressure-driven experience in the Washington, D.C. court reporting market.  I am looking for stenographers/reporters looking for a scoper/proofer to help them on jobs large and small.  Dependable and efficient, fair and thorough.  Reasonable standard rates based on technicality of material, turnaround date, and quality of the reporting itself.  Bob in Virginia at 240 377 6473

Hi! I was a legal secretary for over thirty years. I am now working from home transcribing audio tapes and of late, I am doing a little scoping and proofreading for court reporters who are willing to send me documents in Microsoft Word, since I do not have CAT equipment. I use Dropbox, Start Stop, Microsoft Word, Windows 7, Paypal and an Infinity foot pedal and headset. My rates are reasonable for both audio (per minute) and scoping/proofreading (per page). My turnaround times are good. I can guarantee a perfectly proofread, formatted and spell-checked document. Please consider my services by emailing me at metatauta@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Hey all.  I'm a new court reporter looking to hire a proofreader long-term -- I'll need one for my career, after all.  That being said, I'm looking for a proofreader who can handle DigitalCAT (I'd like to switch but can't afford to right now), and who adheres primarily to Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters.  I've been having trouble finding a proofer who can meet those criteria and do a reliable job, but if you can, then please contact me.
