WARNING:  I RECENTLY WORKED FOR JANET EPSTEIN & ASSTS AND SHE HAS NOT PAID ME ANYTHING FOR THE 6 JOBS TAKEN STARTING IN NOV. OF LAST YEAR.  I HAVE BEEN PROMISED OVER AND OVER THAT I WOULD GET PAYMENT AND IT NEVER CAME.  I ALSO WAS TOLD THAT JANET WAS GETTING ALL OF MY MESSAGES AND SHE NEVER RETURNED A SINGLE ONE.

I already have a judgment against her for all the jobs I took for her in 2013.  I worked for her for over ten years and when she had financial problems, I hung in there trying to help her out by continuing to work for her though rarely getting paid.  Needless to say, by trying to help her out, I lost thousands of dollars in unpaid jobs and was still putting out for gas and parking and supplies and mailing costs.  She claimed the attorneys were not paying her but I worked for the same firms for those ten years and find that extremely hard to believe.  She has no money to pay her reporters but she has the money to hire a lawyer to fend off collection efforts, and she still lives in a house worth close to $800,000.00.  Why she couldn't downsize her lifestyle and pay her debts, I really don't understand.  She will never repair her reputation in this state.  I suggest making sure any jobs you take from other agencies are not really jobs she is running through others.

A firm owner I used to work for put liens on their property if they owed her money.  I know nothing about the process, but it might be something to look into if it's thousands of dollars.

Janiece....that sounds like a great idea.  It seems like there are a lot of us out there!  And obviously small claims suits aren't doing a whole lot.  She is still out there hiring unsuspecting reporters....

I wonder if there are enough people out there that you could file a class action.  My understanding is the defendant has to pay the costs if you can get the class action approved.  I'm no attorney but I think that's the way it works.

Stay tuned, Patty....

Will you share that info with me?  I'm going to sue her also.  My email is pattychung12117@aol.com.  Thanks.

Yes, Patty, I am planning on taking her to small claims.  I have an email now into an atty who is going to provide me the correct legal business name for the pleading.

I'm also a victim.... She owes me for jobs too from November and on.  They don't respond to emails/phone calls.  And they keep their doors locked during business hours.  But the most disturbing thing is I only sent her couple of signed cert pages, not enough to cover for six or more.  Are you going to take her to Small Claims?  I feel like such a fool.  Someone warned me about her.  But when Janet called, she promised that I wouldn't have a problem getting paid.  She said they're working on restoring their reputation.  And I believed her and gave her a chance.  :/

Kelli, don't worry.  She's not on here.

Apparently this has been going on for a while.  A friend of mine was complaining about this firm early last year for the same thing.

Yikes.  I'll look out for them.  I don't think they're on this website, I hope.
