I am an East Coast based realtime reporter looking for a seasoned Case CAT scopist.

I need a scopist who is familiar with Dropbox and dailies, who is not afraid of very technical and heavy medical depositions, nor depositions that can exceed 300 pages in length.

Please forward your rate sheet, a sample of your work and experience to mitchellam AT comcast dot net.

Thank you!

Hi, Case CAT reporters.

I am a scopist with over 20 years of experience.  Looking for a reporter who needs an extra set of fingers and eyes to help out one or two days a week.  I know your time is very valuable and I do my best to research names and spellings so you don't have to.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about my services, please contact me at youngbloodtypes@comcast.net.  Thank you!!!

Now entering my 19th year in the court reporting business!  CaseCAT scopist looking to add another steadily-working reporter to my client base.  Dailies, rushes, hearings, depositions, meetings, I've done it all and will continue to do so.  I lately have been specializing in asbestos and other medical trials and depositions.  Most jobs standard rate word-for-word scoping to audio for $1.25 per page.  Dailies, rushes, and highly technical material for $1.50 per page.  I find every term I can find for you.  Based on the East Coast, but clients all over the country.  I would love to hear from you.  betabob923@gmail.com.  Here's to a successful 2016 for all of us!

Hi, I have room for one more reporter! I am on Eclipse 6.0 and 7.0.  I love to do Connection Magic!  I was a reporter for 25 years, and my English teacher was Margie Wakeman-Wells!  I do the transcript exactly how YOU want it, not what I think "things should be."  I listen full audio on all jobs.  I research spellings if you couldn't get them to me.  I have references.  My rates are extremely fair!  I just like to work!  My turnaround is fast, and my goal is that not one word is left out.  I will send you back as close to a "flawless transcript" as possible.  Email me at darcylingenfelser52@gmail.com  Or call me at 530-925-3261.  Let's talk!  Thanks!

I am an Eclipse scopist and have been for approximately 13 years.  I find myself in need of either a full-time reporter or a couple part-time reporters.  I have four part-time reporters at present. My full-time scopist, who did mostly asbestos cases, finally retired after 30 years of reporting.  I now find gaps in my scoping work.  I know how incredibly busy a reporter's life is and feel it's my job to take some of that weight off your shoulders so you can have some life to yourself.  I was a deposition reporter and know the stress.  After I stopped reporting, I became a paralegal.  Most of my paralegal work involved physician notes, so I am very familiar with medical terms.  I ALWAYS do full-audio scoping and adhere to my reporters' preferences.  I do full audio scoping on every job with no extra cost  Combining my 30+ years in this business, I understand the importance of not only a clean transcript but also the importance of a timely job.  After working for attorneys, I know that they feel they are the only person you work for and all you have to do is push F7 and out pops the perfect transcript.  For what it's worth, I did set many attorneys straight on that.  I have a document that sets out my work ethic, rates, turnaround time, etc.  I would be happy to send that to you along with reporters names for references.  Wishing you all a blessed and prosperous new year!  Cheryl

Thank you.

I am in dire need of help.  I have my 82-year-old parents living with me, my dad spent 9 weeks in the hospital this year, and now my mother is in late stages of Alzheimer's with a stroke last week, sent back home with hospice, less than 6 months.  I have no idea about elderly care, but i sure could use a scopist, with experience, to help me make this transition.  I'm sorry to the newbie scopists, but i don't have time to go behind you and train you.  I really need an experienced scopist!  I am on Case Catalyst!

Thank you for understanding.  God bless and Merry Christmas!

Eclipse-trained scopist.  Over 12 years experience.  I listen to full audio, and I don't believe that should be an extra charge.  It is part of my job.  I have current tech support.  I have worked with official and freelance reporters.  Anything from workers' comp to death penalty to Ford rollover cases and beyond, cases with words I'll never use again in my lifetime.  I don't care how dirty it is, I prefer it clean, of course, but when you need the help, you need it.  Send it over.  I am easy to work with.  My rates haven't changed in 12 years.  Everything is doable.  One caveat, I don't hold myself out to be a proofreader, and I only work on the body of the transcript.  I'm the production side of it, and I believe every transcript needs two sets of eyes.  You can email me at kingshand@hotmail.com.

I am an experienced Eclipse scopist.  I have a background in nursing, medical transcription and have been scoping for about six years now.

My regular reporters' work has suddenly dried up and I am hoping there is someone out there who is looking for a great scopist.  I have experience in trials, both criminal and civil, med mal, depos, dailies, board meetings and more, I'm sure.  I am reliable and will get your work back to you before or on the promised day.  I also proof every transcript to audio before returning it.  And most importantly, my rates are very reasonable.  References available on request.

You can contact me at genesisscoping@comcast.net or call me at (541) 653-8918.

I've learned through social media that the biggest complaint of court reporters is that scopists "don't get every word."  I want to help get this problem solved.  I mentor younger reporters and scopists in their English and punctuation skills.  I am on Eclipse v. 6.  Having Margie Wakeman-Wells as my English teacher was a blessing.  I love to scope dailies on Connection Magic as well.  Thanks!

Send me an email if you need help, and we will get these transcripts completely verbatim.  Darcylingenfelser52@gmail.com   I can take overflow work, and I can take really tough medical, as I reported medical mal for over two decades.  Thanks!  Phone me at 530-925-3261!

Hi, Angela.  I am a Case Cat scopist. I am looking to add one more reporter for scoping and/or proofing.  I would be happy to proof in the file with hidden text.

Thanks,

Hi.  After 10 years of working with my proofer/scopist I need to replace her.  Unfortunately she has some personal things going on and just can't meet deadlines.  I'm looking for someone that is on Case Cat and that can provide proofing and on occasions scoping services.  The way I work is I send my entire file (audio and all) and the proofer would make corrections right in my file adding just a hidden text for me to check the correction.  However, I'm open to suggestions on other ways to do it, but I don't really want errata sheets.

I've been a reporter for 15 years in the LA area and I work 4 jobs a week, so I have a pretty consistent stream of jobs.  If you are interested in working with me, I'd love to hear from you and we can talk particulars.  Thanks!

Angela

I have been a working reporter on StenoCat software for 15 years. I am highly experienced in med/mal and construction defect cases but have also done lots of PI work.  On October 21, 2015, my mother suffered a seizure and is still in ICU.  She is better but we have a long recovery ahead of us.  I am looking for scoping work in order to have an income while I'm sitting at the hospital every day and unable to take jobs.  I can provide excellent references.  I hope we can help each other out.  Contact me at bmaxwell12@cfl.rr.com.
