Hi there,

You are a court reporter who is in need of a pair of hawk's eyes finding and correcting your errors. I am a proofreader who is looking to take on a few reporters and who has spent years writing and editing for national publications with great success. Clearly, we're perfect for each other!

I can turn around most jobs in 48 hours, but can turn them around faster if needed. If you're interested, please email joe@donahuejg.com and we can chat.

My desk is clear and I am ready to add a couple of additional clients to my schedule.  I work full-time as a proofreader, so my focus is on my clients and the work they send me.   I have worked with court reporters for a number years, have a BA in English with a minor in linguistics, a broad vocabulary, and a passion for grammar and punctuation.

I work in .pdf format and have the ability to convert your documents, as needed, from .txt, .doc, or other formats.  In addition to depositions, hearings, and court proceedings, I also have experience with meeting minutes of various types.  I will read any type of case, regardless of content or subject.

I perform online research as a matter of course, and I insert sticky notes where my research results are more than a few words.

My regular AND expedited rates are reasonable, with no additional charges for weekends.  I am currently offering a special, introductory rate for first time clients.  Contact me for details!

** I am working on my schedule for the coming week, so if you have any upcoming jobs you'd like proofed, be sure to email me at chelsea@starlighteditorial.com to check availability.**

Why do you need a transcript proofreader? Between taking down a job, scoping it, proofing it, submitting it, and all the stuff in between (you know, eating and sleeping and being with family), it can be hard to get everything done. With me on your team, your time goes further without having to sacrifice what's important to you. Take back your free time. Let's be teammates.

You can email me at chelsea@starlighteditorial.com or visit my website, starlighteditorial.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a great day!

As a court reporter, you’re busy. Transcribing the spoken word in a legal proceeding is a lot of work. You are expected to hear all the mumbled and incoherent responses, understand terminology used in many different contexts, and make poor grammar readable – all while typing up to 250 words per minute! Under such circumstances, it’s easy to slip up here and there. Let me help you by catching those mistakes that are small but critical. When you’ve stared at your work for so long that all the words are blurring together, I can be your fresh set of eyes.

Every court reporter needs a proofreader they can rely on. That’s why I offer all prospective clients 25 pages free on the first transcript they send me and welcome constructive feedback. My goal is to do great work that you can trust stamping your name on.

Please go to www.ahradoway.ca to find out more about what I do, see my rates, peruse a sample of an annotated PDF, and get in touch with me.

There sure are a ton of PDF proofreaders out there! Bottom line, I want to wow you so that you'll use my services again!

Hello, everyone. I'm a PDF proofreader looking to expand my clientele. I possess an excellent grasp of legal terminology, having worked as a legal assistant in the past.

I provide a fresh, critical, and trained set of eyes to look at your transcript, reading it letter for letter, word for word. If the transcript has misspellings, transposed words, punctuation issues, capitalization problems, formatting inconsistencies, or if something just seems “off,” you can be confident I’ll bring it to your attention.

Interested in my services, but nervous to try something new? No problem. Let me show you what I can do! All new clients receive the first 15 pages free! That way, you can be confident that you’re in good hands.

I look forward to working with you!

Kelly

Hello, everyone!
I'd like to introduce myself and announce that I currently have availability to assist two or three additional court reporters in need of transcript proofreading. I am flexible, skilled, and dedicated to making each of my client's lives easier. I do my work very meticulously. I employ careful, manual reading as well as a series of macro-driven, automated checks just to make sure little things don't get missed. You can trust me to look for everything from homophones to spacing to formatting and correct bylines. My references are Morson's, Gregg and Merriam-Webster. I am flexible if you prefer other rules.

I receive and return transcripts in PDF format. I can help you convert to a PDF quickly and easily from any CAT software you use. It's as easy as printing! I don't print transcript pages because I'm committed to maintaining a green home office. Please visit my website to learn more about my services: http://christinebsmith.com. You can contact me via the form on my site or directly by emailing cbs.transcripts{at}gmai[dot]com
