So often we get urgent requests to send letters, faxes, e-mails, or phone calls to our legislators to help us combat ER in the courtrooms. I send off my letters, and then I never find out what happens.

Well, you'll be happy to know that we got enough of a response to defeat proposed legislation to replace official court reporters in California with ER.
