Does anyone know how to do an accent over a letter in Case Cat??

I agree, Jill.  I go to that group quite often to get answers!

You might try the CaseCatalyst Reporters and Users group on facebook.  There are certified trainers there that answer questions pretty quickly.

Okay.  Thanks.

Try your drive designation.  If CC is using, say, drive D, but your other computer was using drive C, that could be where the problem is.  I'm just guessing here, though.  When you open CC, in Manage jobs, click on File, then User Root Folders, and check to see what drive you are telling it to go to to find your user files.  Like I said, this is just a guess.

Cindy, I am restoring to CC.  Whenever I buy new laptops I backup and restore, never a problem.  I didn't have a problem restoring my dictionary and all the basics, only when I backed up a case it gave me that message, it's very strange.  When I get home later I'll try what you suggested.  I restored my includes and system files directly in CC with no problem and I tried different means, a usb drive, my larger backup drive, to no avail.  Thanks.

No, you should be able to do that too, as long as you're restoring to CC.

ok.  so I cannot just open CC and go to where my jobs and cases are and then hit restore.  That's how I always restored.  Thanks.  When I get home later I will try that.  I wanted to start using it but I need to transfer cases over.  Thank you so much and this site is such an invaluable tool for court reporters.
