Bece, I don't know what you mean by a signature line. Do you mean something like this: ________________________ ???

Hi, there.
This may be a silly question, but when you create a line, say a signature line in your transcript is there a way to keep that line when you create an ASCII or is it impossible in .txt format?

Oh awesome. That is what I'm saying. So I guess if I have 4.2.0.6, then I'm really not that far behind. SO I guess I don't have to worry about needing an upgrade that bad just yet. You are such a wealth of information:)

Erica, are you saying you've loaded from a CD the version 4.2.0.6?

If so, that was the last time a CD was sent out. Here's what the Eclipse updates section says:

Total Eclipse 4.2.0.8 (update only) WARNING! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!>
This update should be installed only if you have already installed version 4.2.x.x or above. If you install this update over an older version, Total Eclipse will CEASE TO FUNCTION.

Thank you:) Now I have a new question. Sorry to keep being a pain. But I really don't have the money for a service contract. This was all kind of an "all of the sudden" change for me.

I did get an upgrade from Eclipse, but I don't think they gave it to me through a disc. I think they sent it to an email address. Now, which one that is, I have no idea. My contract just ran out in May, so I know that it wasn't that long ago I received it. SO the only disc I have is of 4.2.0.6. I am thinking this is a pretty darn old version. First, I guess I am wondering what the numbers for the newest version are. Second, I am wondering if anyone knows if there is any way I can find or retrieve the actualy update that I believe I received within the last year and a half without going through every email address I have and every email I've ever gotten. Boy, and I am usually the organizational queen!!!!

So frustrated with this mess. Thank you all!

Erica, when you hit Alt+T to open up a realtime file, check the box that says "Show statistics." : )

Thank you. I finally got the writer installed. But now I am trying to figure out how to get my stroke/audio monitor thingy to come up during every realtime job without having to select it each time. Anyone know?

Erica, To make the footer disappear, go to the very top of your file and click Alt n. Then select omit elements and click on footer. If you ever want it to come back in that file, click Alt n, but then click on resume elements and click on footer.

I am so sorry, Kelli, but I have no suggestions. I am actually having problems myself. I am wondering
1) How to hook up my mira A3 to eclipse without having the disc to install the A3
2) How do I actually get my blocks into my "blocks" folder?
3) How do I turn this stinkin' footer off?

I think that's it for now anyway. lol. THANK YOU ALL.
