I think it's in here somewhere, but I can't remember for sure ~ how do you scan to/find speaker IDs? With F5 I know you can go to every speaker line, but what if you just want to go to "THE WITNESS" IDs ~ I'm having a total brain freeze:)

N-BZ -- I like it!

I use NO*EB quite often. I think I'll try N-BZ for reject and give me a New Brief, pleaZ. I sure didn't read the directions very thoroughly in the changesd.txt! Thanks, Brenda!

NO*EN rejects and gives a new brief. NO*EB just rejects -- for when it gives you something for a phrase you don't want to use.

I don't like the seating chart, but if you look on your speakers list, there's a check box. Click it and it will give you the seating chart.

Don't know the answer to the other question. I think you're right, but I just don't remember. Call support. They're there 24/7.

And DITTO to life before forums! I barely remember how I worked two years ago!

I'll have to play around with. it. Does NO*EN reject and give a new one or do you have to do both strokes? Also, where's the seating chart - do you like it??
Oh, sorry, third question:) I just updated my laptop, which uses my convience key. I checked my desktop and it's still on 4.1 - oops?!? Can I now update to 4.2 without a CD - I think that's needed for 4.2, right?
I don't know how I used to live without all the help I get on forums.
Thank you!!

Stacy, NO*EB won't give you a new one. That will just reject. You need a different stroke for Request New. I use NO*EPB. I haven't used that very often, and usually when it gives me a two-stroker. Then it gives me *another* two-stroker! I suppose I should tell it not to give me two-strokers, but I'm almost afraid of what it will give me after that. :\

Thanks, Brenda!! I keep forgetting I don't have the reject/suggest update yet and when I hit my (your) NO*EB, I keep waiting for a new brief ~ duh!! ;)) So since I'm caught up, I'm FINALLY updating so my delusions will come true ~ Yay!!

My pleasure. First time I hit it, I was on the phone to support in an absolute panic! Looking back, I'm impressed that the tech kept the weariness out of her voice when she answered my question. LOL

You have hit on the Multi-Scan. You aren't a true Eclipse user until you hit that! Ctrl-Shift-M. That's the toggle. Do it again, and you'll be back up and running.
