Eclipse Version 5 Users

This group is for Version 5 users to share what aspects of Version 5 they are using and why.....as well as requests for help as problems arise using Version 5.

I just downloaded Version 5 (a year after it came out), and I feel like I'm learning Eclipse all over again.

Would greatly appreciate input from other Version 5 users.

Chris, I agree with Jenny.  I have kept this page open because there are still Version 4 and 5 people out there, but I went to 6 a long time ago and am looking forward to Version 7 when it's ready.

Chris, skip 5 and go directly to 6.  I know a few reporters who have done this.  You shouldn't have any issues.  The path is different.  6 is so much better.  And, after a while, 7 will be out and will be totally amazing.

So my latest problem after moving Eclipse 5 to Windows 7 is numbers that automatically want to behave as shortcut commands when I only want to type a number! I tried every setting in the Numbers tab but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Megan, I can wait. I'll get it in touch with you later. Thanks!

Damn - I have a post-it note at home - user access controls something - I just don't know if off the top of my head.  If you haven't fixed it in 5 hours, lemme know and I can help you when I'm home.

Thanks, Megan, I'll see if I can do something with that. My Eclipse tech support is lapsed and they want another $900 to talk to them.

I hope I say this right. User settings - document tab - timecodes - WAV ms/sec does it say 1000?

Otherwise it's a windows user controls access thing that I always have to call Eclipse about because I forget how to change that.  It's just some box that gets unchecked/checked.
