Gosh, I love scoping. You get to learn so many new, different things. I love scoping far more than I ever did reporting. I'm way opinionated, and at least as a scopist I can yell at my computer and say, Did he really just say that out loud?! Love my job and love my reporters!

I'm an official reporter for Los Angeles Superior Court. Only been with the courts for almost two years. Never used a scopist as a depo reporter. Would really like to try using one now, but I don't really know where to start. I'm currently working on a jury trial and could use some scoping help! :) I'm currently on Case Catalyst 10 with audio available. Advice?

I am a scopist who uses Case Catalyst. To zip your files then attach them to an email and the scopist will unzip them on her end and work the transcript then return to you a zipped text file which you then write over your existing one when you download, unzip and open it. Rates are usually starting at $1.10 per page on regular scripts and then goes up with video and rush jobs. If you need help, I am available to scope.
