    hi Scott:
I'm 2/3 way through my CSR training, at 140-180 wpm, another year to get the trophy, I hope (licensure), and leaving my current 34-year career in automotive industry, fast fingers, languages come easily, hoping this really, really happens.
Good to see some guys have landed well in the Steno field!
    Thanks for being there !

Just wanted to say hello. And how great to see this profession is so strong in your family and impressive.

Both my son and I are in school. My son has been in the program less than a year and is almost to my speed (180-200) and I started many years earlier. He is the only male in the program, so I'm sure he may want to communicate with you to get a male's perspective.

    Have a good evening.

    Hi Scott
Thanks for your well-wishing and encouragement, it takes a lot of stamina and humility to learn this new gig, and I'm hoping that I stick with it to the finish line! Its highly worthwhile and I love to "type", whether its typewriter, keyboard, guitar work (acoustic), or some keyboards in my son's band. Fingers promote neuron transfer and fights all that Alz/stuff that people are getting from nonactivity.
Have a great weekend, and thanks once again.
