April, this shows you're online. Press comment back if you are and leave me a comment.

April, I'm Brenda, Jenny's friend -- not just some random stalker looking for a friend. ;) Nice to see you!
  • Brenda Rogers

Of course I don't mind her sharing! Jenny is great. She nagged me into all sorts of good things for me. Of course, I'm contrary enough that I don't always take the advice. Immediately. It was only after she said, "I'll stop about the hyperkeys" that I decided to give them a third try. STILL drives me nuts when I want to type something and forget to hit the n, but mostly, I really like using them!
Hope you hang around CSRnation with us and have fun. :)

April, check out Rhoda Collins' page. Note the Stephen King books in her office!

    I see you!!!
  • Tami

    Hi, April!

I'm Jenny's friend, too. I agree to try my best to keep my mouth shut about writing short and how fun and fabulous it is and how it will add to the longevity of your career and how it starts to become a game and . . . and . . . and . . .

    Welcome aboard!!
  • Brenda Rogers

I can't promise not to keep *my* mouth shut about short writing, especially since I've made a 180 turn in the past year! But even I didn't have an in/in^ conflict. :P (Of course, I wrote "I know" in two strokes to avoid that conflict . . . )
  • Brenda Rogers

just read what I meant and not what I typed there . . . sheesh! embarrassing. *blush*
  • Elise Nock

Hey there April, finally get to see a pic of you. I just love your sister! I have not yet had the pleasure to meet you, but I am hoping that will happen in the near future. Would love to do some jobs for you guys as well! Well, hope you had a great holiday! Talk to later.
(don't you just love this website!!!) Elise
  • Brenda Rogers

I had a double negative in my first sentence. ACK! I hate when I start a sentence and then change in midstream. Have a good Monday!
  • Rhoda Collins

hi April! Did you see the "sameness" to The Stand with Cell? That's what I didn't like. I even have two books signed by him, LOL. My stepfather stood in line in Florida to get them for me. That was back in 2000, or something.

In my blog I have a ton of information on my Revolution. I am so loving it! The machines are a very personal choice, I think. I know Brenda loves her Light Speed writer. I love the separated keyboard of the Gemini. I don't think I could use another machine anymore, LOL. I have used a Gemini since 2003. And I love using the tablet with it! Good to meet you, April! Rho
  • Rhoda Collins

Sorry about the tendonitus! The Revolution can also be 'funded' thru your insurance in some way if you have health issues and 'need' it. ;) If you ever were interested, you could call them and they could explain it more. I didn't get mine that way, lol.

I have heard good about that Oprah book! There is a book club w/in CSRnation also! You can post about books you have read. Is a nice group.

I think SK is 'ready' to retire after reading Cell, lol. It really was not a 'long' book, in comparison to his other ones. I loved the Dark Tower Series! Sad, but I have not read one of his since Cell... I guess to a new generation, it would be a good book to start of his. I have so much fun collecting all of them in hard cover. I loved "Storm of the Century" which was just the series and not really a book.

    Okay, back to work! Rho
  • Rhoda Collins

why thank you for looking at my photos! I wish I had more time for it, LOL. And storm of the century was "just" the mini series. The book came after! And the book is just the "script". If you watch the movie you are fine! Glad you're tendonitis is getting better! Way cool!
  • Tami

Yes, I'm a lot more bossier than Jenny, and some might think it's not in a good sort of way like Jenny. She's the sweetest! You are lucky to have her.

How many CRs are in your family?? I know a brother and maybe even another sister????

You have an amazingly fun-sounding CR family!
  • Brenda Rogers

Don't know if Tami's "bossier" than Jenny, just "mom-er" -- but what do you expect after 5 kids. ;)
  • Rhoda Collins

LOL, I heard the bathroom thing at NCRA in NYC, I think. I have always remembered that one. ;)

I'll try fixing up your page again when I have some time. Last time it covered up all the comments with the background. Went to the store - bought cookies!
  • Jenny Griffin, RMR CRR CCRR CRC

Ha! Now who's the bossy one!
  • Ruthy

Great picture. Thanks for saying hi. I still have to get waaay used to this site, but I have to go right now. I'll probe it more later.
    Love, Moi
  • Bobbi Newlander

Thanks, for saying "Hi," April. Yes, Ruthy's great. She thinks the world of you, too.

Nice to have a sister who's a CSR??
  • Tami

Ankles?? What a bummer! Is that supposed to last forever or something temporary??

I turned 20 in Sept. of '80, took the CSR two months later, started as a pro tem in March, and was an Official in June '81. Had judges pulling me into chambers asking me if I could handle the graphic testimony that I was about to hear. I looked about 16 then.

You and Jenny look so young. You both must have had the same reactions back then.

Oh those were the days . . .
