Brooke, hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Denise and I'm actually a scopist located in Orange County/HB area. I went through CR schooling (SCCCR), but having not passed the skills portion of the RPR, and NOT wanting to incur any MORE debt, I decided to scope as my profession. That was back in '97....I've been scoping ever since. If you (ever) get to a point where you think you'd like to work with a scopist, please feel free to contact me. And if we're not on the same software, I could help you find another professional scopist who is. CONGRATULATIONS on your new profession. I KNOW how difficult the CSR can be. It's a fantastic accomplishment!

Hi Brooke. Nice to meet you... I was just looking through CSR and I came across your profile. I see that you are new to court reporting, as a working reporter. How does it feel? Are you nervous when you go out to a job?? I am still a student and have about another year and a half to go. What school did you attend? Sorry I am asking a million questions. i am just excited to start working, but at the same time, very nervous. I hope it is going real well for you.
