I didn't know you were doing scoping now. For whom do you scope? Did you join the scopists' group, the transcribers' group and the proofreading group? Make sure you do because you will get a lot more exposure that way.

In the meantime, call me when you get home. I just got back from Abi's Thursday appointments. They are long and arduous . . .

I need a laptop. I spend enough time in doc's offices with Abi that I could sit there and proof/scope and get tons of work done while I'm waiting for her to come out. I'm gonna check craigstlist to see if I can't pick one up on the cheap.

In the meantime, is Pa happy to be back in Oirland?

I don't care about that, Mom; all I need it for is proofreading. Then I can take it with me and keep reading wherever I'm going. I sit for HOURS in the waiting room while Abs is in her appointments. Might as well do something productive, right??

I saw that your book was in the section called "What I'm reading now." Have you seen it??

I'm sorry to do this to you again, but you know the Holiday cookie recipe and the C***y Bread recipe, and Grandma's Pumpkin Pie recipe -- and any others you've got -- would you send those to me again? I wrote dad an email the other day asking him to write me back if he got my email. I had a catastrophic data failure and I lost everything, including my recipes.

DON'T post those recipes on here, though. Send them to my private email address, okay? We're going over to Jimmy & Ellen's for Thanksgiving, so make sure you call me before then so we can chat.
