Whoo-hoo. 250+ video sounds like a lot of work. I think that would wipe me out for the week. It has been a little slow lately.

It's been super slow for me. I'm just getting back to work from cutting my finger on 4th of July, needing stitches, and just letting my finger heal. You're right. It is wiping me out (putting me to sleep)

Are you doing realtime to the judge?

Don't be intimidated. I'm sure you'll do fine. So now that you're pro teming realtime, are you going to do it for depositions?

It won't be a problem hooking up. The judge's cable will already be set up. You just have to connect it to your output and make sure the baud rate is the same as the judge.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I know you're a good reporter, and you'll do fine.

What are you doing for training? Are you sitting out? Or are you talking about training on uploading your transcripts and things?

Work is not bad. I'm keeping busy. Yeah. I find court transcripts a lot harder than depo. It's just a really steep learning curve.

The Pasadena get-together was fun. You'll definitely have to come to the next one. Marla has pics up on her page. You should go look at them.

Oh, btw, Jeanese won prizes at the raffle. I can't remember exactly what she won. I think she might have won a thumb drive.

Did you see they're looking to add another full-time reporter in the District court. Are you going to go for it?

I think the daily commute to LA would be too far for me. Once in a while is not a problem, but every day will wear me out quickly.

If the staff reporter gets the position, then they'd move you into the unassigned staff reporter's position. So you're be floating but still working for the gov.

Nope. No transcript requests and no working at the courthouse since December. I guess everybody's back from vacay.

Speak of the devil. I just got a request for a transcript today. They said it was short. I don't even remember.
