Yeah, the per diem is good. I just don't like producing the transcripts. Radio Shack was my first choice anyway and that's where I found one. So I'm canceling the Dell.
  • Jennifer

Good idea. Maybe I'll keep it after all. Thanks for the tip
  • Katiana Ball

    Happy bday <3

    Hi Kyung,
Marla suggested I pose this question to you: Have you done any freelance work for lipka?
    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I didn't realize that I did have two profiles. I had a major problem with my page the other day and it kicked me out. I guess I better tell Monti. BTW, love your page... Pink is my FAVORITE color. Happy belated Birthday... Hope it was a wonderful day for you.

Hey, thanks for the invite to the Mentoring Group.

    Hello Kyung,
You should see a little guy with a crown on under the comment box as you are leaving a comment on someones page.

  • Kelli Combs (admin)

Ohhhh nooooooozz, you left me comment #666!

  • Kelli Combs (admin)

That is very funny.. #666 comment on Friday the 13th!

Thanks. I used to not like my name when I was a kid cuz no one could pronounce it. I love it now. My mom has a knack for artsy, cool names. Anywho, my name is Hindu (altough I am not). From what I have heard/read, it's very common in India and it's a derivative of the Indra Gods. My particular name is the God of Air and Light. Cool, but my dad alwasy says: Yeah, hot air and light brown skin.
  • Jena Macato

Kyung, thanks for the beautiful birthday cake! I had a very relaxing day. Thanks for thinking of me.
  • Stephanie Leslie

What a cute job you've done with your page! It makes me want to go back to last week and do Valentine's Day all over again!

Thanks for checking in with me. I am doing great. Hope you're doing well too!
  • Kelli Combs (admin)

    Hello kyung,
I was hoping to create (with you guyzez help) an FAQ page so new users have a place to get instant help.
Anyone can ask or answer a "how to" question.
It is also a great suggestion box, users can vote up good ideas.. and hopeful I can deliver their suggestions.

    What do you think?
  • Brenda Rogers

Thanks. Yours too! I LOVE yellow!!!
  • Jennifer

    I'll check it out.
  • Jennifer

No, not since January, and I keep getting transcript requests. I just received the 4th one last week, 5 pages. How about you?
  • Jennifer

I guess work is slow because Rick hasn't been sending a lot of emails for work, not that I want to go anyway. Depos have picked up for me. I've taken your lead and working with as many agencies as I can.
  • Brenda Rogers

Both! ;) Thanks. It's been a while since I've had my hair this short. Kinda fun.
  • Jodi Harrison

Oops!! lol... I thought you were brainstorming for names for your website where Court Reporters will be posting important urls for resourcing and networking. Sorry about that Kyung.

Great page, I love your background and pics! And you know I just have to press that red button.... :)
  • Quyen

Hi, Kyung. Thanks for the invite. I'm not here much, but I love seeing your million blogs! :)
  • Cari L. Waters-Drewry

Kyung, thanks for thinking of me on my bday. I always love reading/receiving things from you. Have a great weekend. Enjoy the sun...C
  • Kelli Combs (admin)

Ughh, it broke last week.. I was hoping no one would notice.
I am looking into it, I am trying other programs.
  • Clay Frazier

I appreciated the tips, but I haven't done too much changing. The only thing that's changed were the people I persued working for. Now I am lucky enough to work (currently every day) with reporters, supervisors, and schedulers who are punctual, friendly, and accepting. Hence, no more depressing blogs.
  • Indrani Peyton

Kyung, sorry for the delayed response. I just found out my dad is really sick and I was handling some things re: that. Anywho, I am headed for the airport now for NYC for the weekend to spend time with him and to celebrate my birthday (which is on Monday). I will back in Chicago on Sunday night tho. While I am in NYC, I will email you my rates and turnaround times a long with my flyer/references. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me on my cell at 773.459-7279.
  • Karen Cooper

Hi Kyung.. Hope all is well with you. Not much going on these days
(at least locally). In 14 calendar days I had 27 out of state/town jobs and only 3 local L.A. jobs.. isn't that CRAZY??!! Any way it does seem like it's picking up a bit..so we'll see. Take Care and have a Fantastic weekend!
  • Marla Sharp

Oh, my! What a pretty page!! And lovely music. Who is that? Oh, and congrats on becoming a CSRnation Emperor. There should be a gift for such a thing.

I'm happy to throw anothing outing. Any thoughts on where it should be? I was thinking down in ol' OC. Been a while since we had one down there, huh? Give me ideas.
  • Kelli Combs (admin)

Holy crap you have reached "Emperor" status!! first on the site.
I have to come up with more levels, I am out of ideas, whats stronger and greater than an Emperor?

    Monti
  • Indrani Peyton

Hi Kyung: I was wondering if you ever received my rate information. I checked my page twice and there doesn't seem to be any indication that it was sent or received. I'll send it again for sure but let me know first. I don't want to appear a stalker if your already got it. LOL.
  • Indrani Peyton

Cool. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a good one.
  • Audrey Ricks

Canceled!?!?! Bummer! Let me know if they reschedule. I'll send you a word list. I think I'm going to try to make the 18th CSR Outing. I need to go check out the 4-1-1 and see where/when/etc.
  • Mary Motley O'Brien

If there is some way I can come....I will. I'm usually in bed by 9:00 these days, LOL even on the weekend!!!
  • Chris Renegar

Thank you for the Happy Birthday, Kyung! It added to the specialness of my day. :-) --Chris
  • Dana Serrano

    LOL!!! ALWAYS!!! Thanks.

I hope you and the family have a Happy Easter also.
How are things in your world?
  • Quyen

Hi, Kyung! I'm glad you like my music selection. I thought I'm the only thug on here. Lol! Everybody else seems to have such "tame" music. :) Hope you have a wonderful Easter, if you celebrate it: otherwise, just have a great weekend!
  • RAC2630

Hi Kyung! Thanks for the "Happy Easter," too! Thank you! I hope you and your family have a WONDERFUL Easter, also!! =)
  • Quyen

  • Audrey Ricks

Hoppy Easter from the Easter Boxers!
  • Kelli Combs (admin)

    Haha!
Trina, you are right!! I just now noticed it.
Kyung is now officially coming after me!
  • Delia R. Vega

    Hi
It was nice meeing you too, Kyung. You're right, it sounds like we've had some of the same nightmares associated with software/hardware. I can laugh about it now.
  • Delia R. Vega

Thanks, Kyung for the info!! That helps a lot.
  • Kelly A. Karnafel

    Kyung,
It was great meeting you the other night and comparing notes about court!! I may have to pick your brain about Federal if I decide to pro tem in that arena!
  • Dana Serrano

I wish they were on here too! I would love to hear from both of them and see how they're doing. I miss them.
  • Dana Serrano

She was ... she was the best and Linda was my favorite teacher in all of my court reporting years. She was so funny.
