Hi LuAnn! I just noticed your comment about your daughter expecting twins, and as a twin mommy, had to come and say, "CONGRATULATIONS" to you. (and your daughter, of course)
My twins are now 19 months old and I am a CR sudent. Are these your first grandbabies? Your daughter's first choldren? Hope I am not imposing or coming off as nosy. Just love hearing of others joining the wild ride of twin parenthood : ) Best wishes for you and your family.

How's life with twins? ... Well, chaotic! It is definitely challening at times, but there are also many positives. From what I have gathered in talking to many other parents of twins, it seems to be a tad easier when you have twins first. Probably because you don't know any different. It was great having my mom for the first couple weeks. She commented that it was more fun for her than when I had my first, because we didn't have to "fight" for the baby. There was one for each of us to hold and cuddle and feed and change, etc. Getting the twins on a good predictable sleeping schedule is a lifesaver! I will give you a book reccommendation, if you are interested, to pass along to your daughter. (I have some other little "tricks" that really worked for me that I can share with you, too, if you want : ) )

I am fortunate, at this point, my husband works opposite hours from my schooling, so we don't have to have outside daycare for the kids. his schedule may be changing soon, though, and then I don't know what will happen. I have a ways to go still. Only at 130. But I am happy with my progress. It's been 1 year since I started theory.

Well, sorry for the rambling. I am going to send you a friend request.
    Have a geat night : )

I offered my help to my daughter but she wants to see how it goes first without help. Told her I'd be glad to have you talk to her directly if she'd want but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks for your offer of information. I'd be interested, even if my daughter isn't. Learn something new every day!

    Good luck in your studies.

I sent you a message by clicking on the little send message icon under your profile pic... I'm guessing you didn't get it then? Darn... It was pretty long... I should have known better than to try something different... maybe if you click on that little envelope icon in the upper left hand corner i will be there. If not, let me know and I'll send it to the email address you left on my page. (Sorry)

Whoa! Happy birthday! Re: the email...sheesh, that was a year ago. I can't believe it. Forgive me, but I don't know if I have a copy of it somewhere or what I said in it. [blushing]

Hope you had a great day!
