Hi April,
I am a Texan reporter looking for another overflow reporter. If you are available, please send you rates and turnaround time to tonie4thompson@yahoo.com.
April, I have started a group for scopists who were formerly reporters in an attempt to make it easier for reporters to find scopists who have this background. You're welcome to join, if you'd like! The group is called Scopists/Former Court Reporters.
Hello April, it is nice to meet you. I just came across your page and i love it. I will def. keep you in mind when I start finally working, which will not be for another year 1/2 - 2 years . . My grammar is okay, but I will def need another set of eyes to find the small errors that I will run right over. Your family is adorable. Keep up the good work. :)
I, too, am a former court reporter. I would like to get into scoping. Any tips and advice? Do you scope locally, online, or both? Any info you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!
No worries. I had to let her go. Honesty and integrity is important to me in a working relationship. And ... I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to my work. Do you remember which job you did of mine? Maybe I could send some work your way???
Ah, the Rasmussen Equipment case. Those were two of the ones I was very pleased with getting back! So how the heck does that work? She works for me, you work for her, she works for Peter. Seems like someone would be getting a very little slice of that pie.
Sorry to hear you're taken. I've had some very good responses though, so I'm sure I'll be fine. :-)
Hi, April: I am looking for a new proofreader on Catalyst, as I like to send my proofer a ZIP file and have changes made directly to my file. My current proofreader has gone back to work at a law firm and can only take my shorter jobs. Would you send me your rates, turnaround time, etc.? My e-mail address is lindseystacy@yahoo.com
Yes, I kept the fish. It's a Mahi and they're delicious when they're fresh. I caught that little one off Big Pine Key about 12 miles out on the Atlantic (Florida Straits) in January of '07. My husband is a charter boat captain but we don't get to Florida as often as we'd like. He fishes mainly on the Chesapeake Bay and in the Susquehanna River Flats. I'm spoiled since we've been fishing in the Keys about once or twice a year for the past seven years. I'm now strictly a warm-weather fisherwoman. We're going to Key West again in November for a week and I can't wait! Got any good fishing stories?
I am looking for some assistance this week. I've been needing to find another backup scopist for a while, and of course have waited till I am in dire straits. I am doing an all day, nonvideo depo tommorrrow that I will need back Thurs night so I can turn it in to my client for Friday delivery. It may run to fairly large pages, last time I did this witness it was like 300 pages. any way, can you send me your rates and availability?
I am a realtime writer. My work is very clean. Let me know. My email is crsreporting@yahoo.com.
Hello, there; Please contact me at DrChaneyMD@Yahoo.com for your rates. Also check out ProfessionalScopists.com to see what I'm gonna be comparing your rates to. Thank you & good luck.
Can you let me know what your rates would be for a Daily? I am working on a huge case right now and need to have the work back by the following morning before lunch. Thank you.
Thank you so much for Cheryl's info. She helped me out with my daily and an appeal. She is great! Saved my life. And she had experience on welding products cases, so that really was a bonus. She was a real lifesaver!!!
Sure! (I learned after I sent out the email with my new address that I could keep my aol email account free, so I still check it periodically.) I am only on CaseCat still. Haven't followed through with your suggestions for the other program yet. Is it CaseCat stuff?
I am currently a student at the Academy of Court Reporting in Pittsburgh, PA. I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a few questions regarding what the role of a scopist is for a school project I am doing. My e-mail address is Brownie12788@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
