    Hi Jodi!
I'm also in Michigan, and I have a silly question for you. How do you DO transcription, is it, for the City of Alberta, Canda, or for a company there,, through the internet/software connections that stenos have available to them? I am 25 miles north of Detroit, where is Norway, MI ?
    Anyway, nice to meet you

WOW Jodi, what an amazing story! I love, just LOVE success stories. So, after receiving the sound clip via puter, you type via headset the actual spoken word into your Word Perfect program? That is so simple! I love it. So, how does a 53-year old dude like me get into something like that where I don't have to shovel much snow before noon? I have relatives in the Houghton-Hancock area, and I know what its like up there. We have had lots of snow this year, but it was 45 here today with sun. Mother nature is teasing us once again.
Are you aware of other cities/municipalities that do what Alberta does? Any in the USA ?
Thanks for your information and time, hope to stay in contact with you!
    bye for now

Geez, Jodi, If I keep this up, no sleep tonight ! I am interested in dumping my current job of 35 years (they are willing to pay me five digits to take my four digit-per-month pension) for something that I REALLY want to do. This website is so new, I am learning at an exponential rate, which was not expected, but highly appreciated....I dont know which direction to go in. Your experience is highly cool ( my expression) and i'm wondering how lazy I will become if I decide NOT to commute 85 miles a day (from Utica to Dearborn, MI) to do what I really want to do,, which is to operate my finges and my neurons faster than Captain Kirk has ever gone!
Let me know if you have any ideas for this held-back autoworker, ready to jump on the rocket, and ride to the moon!
    thanks, again

    Hi Jodi:
I don't know the website's policy on email, I guess its ok if both parties are cool with it. Disclosure is everything (my quote).
Hey, I'm in this chili cook-off for Thursday, at work, so have to get my kitchen rocking, so, going to get some of the basic work done tonight. I will be on tomorrow again
    Have a good night!

    Hi Jodi:
Hey,I'm not aware of anywhere on this site that has mail,, just the email reference for when we started the account with CSRnation, which is my Yahoo address. I think it "musta got lossst" like in the 70s....
We just had a foot of s now miss us by a few hundred miles, went west of us. Good thing, i'm tired of the shoveling thingy.
Well, work on the car, my battery has a deficient connection to the cable,,,not a good thing in a busy guy's life,, is it?
    take care, god bless you

Click your little envelope up in the top left corner of your page. You'll see your name and then a little envelope and a 'person' icon. Click the envelope, and I think that's where you'll find my messages. Lol.

    Hi Jodi!
How was your Easter? Restful? Mine was!
We are getting a last "blast" of winter today, I hope, some mixed rain and snow. I can ALMOST feel the warmth coming up from the southern winds, can't you ?
Hope you are doing well, have a good week!
