Carol, I wanted to comment on the picture of your dog. Is that a beagle? Check out the picture of my two on my page. We dressed them up for Christmas. ~Cammi

    Hi, Carol,

Yes, your dog does look like a beagle. Very, very cute!

I'm in San Jose, CA. That's south bay! LOL. Why did you move to Tennessee?
  • Aleece DePuey

    Too cool!

hey thanks! I have speed teacher! It is great for perfecting strokes, but I need different content and more audio material. Does your school do speed by 10 or 20? When did you start your four-voice material?

Hi Carol, just joining CSRnation and I'm also a member of SimplySteno. Nice to mee tyou
  • Kim Gibney

For some reason I thought you were a member of SimplySteno. Are you? In February of 2006 I purchased the Stenomaster theory, which is Mark Kinslingbury's. I worked on that at home for about six months and then I found SimplySteno and have been with them for the past year, since January of 2007. Are you familiar with the Stenomaster theory? It's awesome!!
  • Crystal Chilton

Where do you go to school?
  • Crystal Chilton

Yes, I thought that was you! How long have you been with Simply Steno? I'm glad I found you. I wonder if anyone else from Brown is on here.

Hi, Carol. You can do it! It does seem like when you're in school, there is no end. But if you stick to it and practice, practice, practice, you'll get there. I found out that just having my machine set up and looking at it every now and then didn't count for practice . When I dug in hard, I made headway. Good luck. Let me know if you ever want to get together and have lunch or something. Take care.

Thanks, Carol, and good luck to you this year as your conquer some more speeds!

Hi Carol. Just checking to see how you're doing with school. 160s are tough. Did you break through those yet? That was definitely my toughest speed. But be encouraged. There is life after 160. You can do it!

Carol, I wonder if it has something to do with how your "new paragraph" stroke is defined. I'm no Case expert -- I have to tell you though.

If you look in your dictionary, what is in the "text" and "steno" blocks for your new paragraph definition?
