That's interesting that you use your steno machine for transcription work. Like you, I'm a court reporting student and a transcriptionist... but I use the regular QWERTY keyboard for my transcription stuff. I just find it's easier and faster when I do it this way.

What was your experience? Did you always just work from your steno machine for your transcription jobs? Or did you switch after thinking you could kill two birds with one stone -- get the transcription job done AND practice on your steno machine AND possibly work on your dictionary. Doesn't it take a much longer time to finish a transcription job when you're on your steno machine? Do you use a foot pedal when you're transcribing?

Sorry... I know... questions overload! :P Very curious about this subject. I would very much appreciate any feedback. Thank you in advance!
