I'm an hour north, in Fort Collins. We slowed down last year for a while, then picked up again. Busy right now. I haven't chatted with my Denver friends in a bit. My impression of a couple months ago was that it was flat but picking up.

I know... this is such a cool way to get to know other reporters that you know we would never meet otherwise. It's sad... I hardly know, let along keep in touch with many other reporters. As far as work, not as much as I would like, but it's now starting to pick up again after the holidays.
I do both, and I am not that fond of court work, but it's fast pay and they offer a lot of it.

Hey! Congrats on your feeling confident with the RPR! I really need to go back and try that blasted 225 again. But I don't want to even bother until I practice tapes and feel more confident with it. The CRR is what I really want, but you have to be RPR first. Hmmm... Our agency is really picking up and getting busier, which feels great! But we haven't had anything more up your way. You were practicing for the RPR. I read some of your other comments, and it seems like you passed. I passed the last CSR, so I am finally working. I would like to take the RPR this year.

My rates are $1 million dollars muah ahh ahh. No just kidding. I typically charge .35 for regular turnaround, .50 for expedite and .75 for daily.

My turnaround times really depend on your agency. Every agency is different in what they call regular/expedite, etc., so you'd really have to tell me. But I'm not schizophrenic in my rates or work or anything like that, so no need to worry about getting slammed with an unexpected bill.

Yeah, I'm on Catalyst, and I love proofing through the restore feature; however, that means that you won't see my changes, right? I mean, I've never received anything back that someone proofed for me because I quit reporting a long time ago. If you have any problems with not seeing the changes, let me know. Proofreading wise, I don't change anything unless it's blatantly wrong because punctuation is very personal. If I see the same thing 15 different ways, I'll definitely ask you first.
