also, you can send private messages if ever need be.
you can add pictures, music and videos to your page.
if you have any questions please let me know.
Its also a good idea to have a picture of yourself on your page, please check this post, thank you. Click here!
Hey, April. So sweet of you to thank me for putting on the outings. Thanks. I hope you can make it to the next one, which is tentatively set for Sunday, Feb. 3rd, in Hollywood. I'll be sending out invitations probably next week.
Are you going to the February DRA convention up in wine country? Should be a good time. They actually have a wine tasting for CEUs. Now, that's my kind of organization! ;o)
We should organize an outing near you in Temecula. There are some nice little wineries there.
Well, I hope you're well. I'm so glad you've joined the site. And here's to a prosperous and awesome new year [clink]!
April, hi! You were recommended to me by Judy Runes as a good reporter in the Inland Empire, and I was wondering if you might be available tomorrow (Thurs.) for a 4:00 dr. depo in Chino. I don't know if this sounds appealing to you. Maybe you can double yourself up since it's a later one. I dunno. For a little background, my husband and I began our agency, Regal Court Reporting, in June of last year and are really growing at this time and getting busier. I am able to take most of our depos, and for the remainder I have a list of good reporters to send out, but I don't think any are available tomorrow, and I have jury duty... ugh! Please let me or Isaiah Leslie know either way. Our business # is (714) 619-9340. Thx in advance!
April, no problem! We actually found someone who had a half-day job who wanted the extra little job to fill up her day. It worked out. Thanks for getting back to me, though. Maybe you can e-mail us your contact info in case we need you in the future (I'm sure we will), and we'll try to make it a better offer - all day. info@regalcourtreporting.com. Take care, Stephanie
Hey April! Thank you for the compliment re: my boys. I am so in love! I think I'll be ready to come back to work (slowly) next week. Let me know if you need me!
I thought I had remembered you moving away, but I guess I'm wrong -- again.
I had Clay take a look at your family to see if he recognized your kids, but he didn't think he did. He graduated from MVHS in '05. He was never involved in school. He pretty much lived for skateboarding during those years. Still does, actually.
Hi there :) I am much better at shipping off a quick email than popping on and off this site...maybe time will improve that skill for me :) But it does make for a nice central location if you're trying to locate someone you've lost touch with...sooner or later they're bound to end up here :)
Hope all is well with you and yours. Life is zipping along in full swing. Say hi to Tim.
My daughter, Haylee, was slated to graduate from MVHS in '03, but we took her out her junior year and sent her up north to a Christian boarding school up there. I think that was David's year, it looks like. She was outta control!! She went to Calvary until the second half of her eighth grade. She hated every minute of the 3 1/2 years she was there.
Clay, Cole, and Chase went to Calvary a few years, too.
I have to say it used to be a small town. When we moved here there were 12,000 people and one stoplight across town. That was it. We didn't even have a H.S or a grocery store back then for a while.
No, I didn't get it, so thanks for hitting me again. It's a bit confusing because our pages are the same color. I've hit you twice on my page and had to turn around and copy it and get on your page to paste it. I contacted Paula, too, and haven't heard back. I think she's doing the same thing. I noticed her messages inside her own page.
It's all coming back to me now. Judge Cope wasn't big on one parent moving out of state when the other parent was involved. I'm so glad it worked out.
Actually just today my supervisor was in downtown Riverside conducting interviews. I heard through the grapevine that we were hiring 12 new CRs. I have no idea where they're going to get them all from. Think we'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Just call the Southwest Justice Center and ask for Darla Miller. Tell her Tami gave you her name. She's a wonderful supervisor, and I just love her to pieces.
Realtime is big here, so you'll need to be ready to hook up to the judges. I think the per diem is about $300. After all-day depos, bet that's a cut in pay. We do make $3.50 for an O & 2, but that's hit and miss. Sometimes you get transcripts; sometimes you don't.
My office is in front of S-203. I just left Judge Cope after 12 years, and my new assignment is in S-201, so my office will be changing shortly. If you get out that way, please stop by. :)
They don't use reporters in Temecula. The family law depts moved to Hemet. They have a number of courtrooms out there, and we have 11 courtrooms that use reporters at the SWJC and a couple floating officials to help cover. Can't remember if I told you, but they were hiring something like 12 new reporters for the county, so there should still be some open pro tem positions after pretty much all the pro tems get officialships. Growth has been crazy in our neck of the woods.
Hi, April. Great seeing you here too. Sorry for the late reply -- trouble with logging in. Not sure where to get a great pup, but I'll keep my ears open. Did I send you the depo notice for April 4? Let me know.
Sounds like LiveNote was informative. That will be fun to take the job, especially with a developed dictionary for that case. That's makes the work fun.
So sorry to hear about the difficulty with your mom. I will keep you in my prayers. We have had to do the same for Terry's mom. It's very sad and challenging seeing them in pain. We can only pray for God's mercy. It's never an easy situation, is it?
Well, some body boarding at the beach, that sounds like a good break for you. We'll be in Encinitas for a week in August for some surfing and body boarding as well.
I would love to see your daughter try reporting. Megan would be a good resource for you and I'm sure would be able to encourage her toward that end. Megan really enjoys it and the challenges it brings. You could call me and get her number and have your daughter call her, or vice versa. Let me know.
We're up at Hume Lake this week. Today we went Jeeping, hiking and biking. The weather is a nice break from down south. It was 108 the day we left. It's been in the 80's here.
We're finishing up Princess Bride, so I'll sign off for now. Great hearing from you. Keep in touch...and, remember, God is with you in every situation; rely on His strength to sustain you.
Hey April! I am soooooo excited for the convention! Only two more weeks. Are you planning to stay from Thursday to Monday? That's how long I'm staying. See you soon!
My name is Julie Geraty, I'm a full-time freelance professional scopist on Case CATalyst 9. I currently have an opening for another reporter. I'm looking to establish a long-lasting reporter/scopist relationship. I am also willing to help out with overflow and expedites, as needed. My schedule is quite flexible.
