I like that ASCII idea! That lady's voice is killing me! How about they let me send in the hardest non-English-speaking witness and attorneys flying at like 250 per minute? That's more of the real world than any five-minute take. If I didn't need it for my new job, I wouldn't bother taking it at all. What a PITA.

    Hi, Lisa! :)
  • Brenda Rogers

Glad you made it over. I dragged my feet about it for a while because . . well, ANOTHER forum? But this is fun. :)
  • Lisa Moskowitz

FWIW, I'm this close >< to bailing on waiting for the Passport and getting the Light Speed. Just felt like saying that.
  • Kyung

Thanks for responding. It would be great to do a casual Eclipse users group. I don't know what other groups do, but t would be fun to learn new stuff and macros and things.
  • norma hadland

Lisa--I also have Stylus and wonder why you are selling yours so quickly

    Norma
  • norma hadland

I have a friend who has asked about mine, but she is also looking at the Lightspeed. She is going to the CSR. I am always interested in feedback on writers, so please let me know what you think about the Passport and the Lightspeed. I am even thinking of attending the Anaheim convention just to view the Lightspeed
  • norma hadland

Oh, I would do that also. I am "grounded" for a while due to tight finances and school. I live right near the beach and the weather has been gorgeous lately. I need to stay focused and it is hard. haha If it is OK, I will invite my friend to join the CSRnation
  • norma hadland

Well, better to struggle with the expedite than to struggle with trying to get through school haha It is late at night and I am again practicing. I gather you are in So. Cal?
  • Kyung

    Hey,

There's a group of reporters meeting up on Sunday, April 13th. I'm not sure if it's going to be at PF Chang's or the Melting Pot yet. You should try and make it. It will be a great opportunity to network and have some fun w/your fellow reporters.
  • Brenda Rogers

*snicker*, Lisa! (your latest comment on the forum here)
  • Brenda Rogers

    Oh, you poor thing!!
And bad day or not, that was eye-rolling worthy at least!!

Boy, I've never walked out of a depo before. That had to be BAD! Get some rest -- and a drink. Sounds like you deserve it!
  • Audrey Ricks

Hi, Lisa! I sent you a reply PM on CRF (re hotels) just in case it didn't go through -- wanted you to know it was there! ;-)
    Enjoy!
  • Susan Jaye

    Lisa,
Could you please contact me? stenotran@prodigy.net.
Need an email or phone number.

    Thanks.
  • Jim Bradle, CCR

I was looking for a realtime Eclipse writer in the Riverside, CA area that could provide Internet realtime via Eclipse's TeleView software (it's a great software if you haven't used it). If you or anyone you know could handle this, I would love to hear from you.
    Thanks, Jim

    Lisa,

You better not go anywhere! Something's going to give. I just can't figure out why it hasn't happened yet.

I rarely agree with Cathryn B., but I really think she's right on this one. I am kind of wondering if L.A. County employees get a greenlight through the metal detectors. Scary thought.
  • Kyung

    Hey,

I was looking for someone to cover a realtime depo last week. I thought I had your phone number. Could you send it to me. You e-mail it, if you want.

    Thanks,
    Kyung

    Lisa, check your email!
  • Kyung

    How's it going?
  • Kyung

Marla's having a get-together at the Winery in Tustin at the District. It's a great chance to meet and mingle.
  • Derek Hoagland

    Hi Lisa,

I saw your advertisement of items for sale. I didn't see an email listed, so I hope you don't mind my posting here.

I am interested in your microphone, but I am looking specifically for the one sold by Stenograph. Item # 37624. If this is what you have and it is still for sale, please contact me at: dhoagland83@hotmail.com

    Thanks,
    Derek Hoagland

    Hi, Lisa!

Just read your post about not getting the cover job emails. You've probably checked this out, but my only thought would be they're going into spam. Are you getting other emails from posts that you've clicked "follow" on? Hope you get it figured out.

I am selling my Light Speed. I am the second owner. The first owner is also on CSRnation. She never used it on a job, just tried it at home. I then bought it and the same thing has happened to me. I've tried it out at home, never used it on a job. I just never had the time to really sit and work with it. I need something ready to go out of the box. It is in mint, excellent condition.

It is a blue Light Speed. No keypads, silver overlay. It comes with the manual, CD with software, AC charger, USB cable, and SD card.

I am asking $2,200. It sells for $2,499 through Stenovations.

If you're interested or have questions, please contact Lisa. mytwins@cox.net

    Thanks!
  • Tami

You don't think there's only one stalker out there, do you???? :)

    We hunted you down.

I can take constructive criticism, but I'd appreciate no name calling, please.
  • Tami

How dare work get in the way of Survivor!!

Good point about the lady cop. I like her and was impressed she square him up so quickly, BUT you reminded me that I really was wanting her to call him out on it and stop sitting there just nodding her head.

I just wrote that and then read Lisa's comment. We even used the exact same words, "Good point." How funny is that.

I'm leaving it and letting it ride and seeing what else Lisa O. wrote.
  • Tami

    Well, Lisa O, SMAFK . . . :)

    It's just wrong!!!!
  • Tami

    Oh, my lordie,

Lisa O. and I used the exact same words for the entire sentence! -- "Good point about the lady cop."

I honestly did not read her post before I wrote that. Too funny!!
  • Tami

Slow. Still trying to get the dictionary converted to a RTF.

BUT that's okay. I know you're right about me being happy with it, and I've been patient this long. Honestly, if I started hooking up with it to my judge before a month ticks off, I'd be super happy. Guess I'm getting a bit more patient in my old age.

Thank you so much for the help offer. I can't believe how many reporters are willing to help me out. That's a good reason why I finally jumped off the cliff.

Not sure what I missed out on today that Janice was talking about over on Depoman. Guess I need to check it out tomorrow. I'm off to bed. Slept about an hour last night, and it's catching up.

    Thanks again, Lisa!!

    Survivor, three more days!!!!!
