Hi, Audra. Thanks for the offer. I'm booked on the 20th already. There's a firm in Eugene called C&C Reporting 800-344-0983. Robin Cassidy-Duran is well-known and well-respected. depos@ccreporting.com Here's the webpage http://ccreporting.com/.

I wish I could help! Sounds like a sweet job!

    Hi, Audra,
I received the offer for the 20th. I would be available on the 20th if the job is still open. My phone number is 503-730-9151. You could call me and we could discuss it further if you like. You could also write me at marytjacks@comcast.net.
Just a little about me: I have been reporting for 10 years this last October. I have covered many different types of depositions, as I'm sure you can imagine. I love patent cases; almost as much as I love medical malpractice. That's pretty much it I think. If you still need help, like I said, feel free to call.
    thank you,
    Mary Jacks

Thanks, Audra. It is all set up! I appreciate it.

Audra -- is this depo still available? I live in Boulder and it would be fine. Is it an expert? I have done only a handful of Livenote jobs, but am totally willing to take itI

I didn't get a phone message. The best number is 303 -408-7532. That is my cell. Also - zanniereid@comcast.net is my e-mail that I get on my phone regularly. Thanks for the offer!

    Let me know.

Audra: If you still need help, let me know. I handle mainly realtime (Livenote, Bridge, etc.) Boulder's about 30 minutes from Denver. Sounds interesting. I do a lot of med mal and have done some patent litigation, mainly on heart defibrillators, though.

    Whatever works for you !!

Marla is having a get-together on January 31st at the Standard in LA, you should drop by. A great way to meet reporters and network.

BTW, my name is Kyung. I'm in the OC. TYL

    Audra,
I heard from Carol that the woman she referred you to backed out of the job. Sorry to hear about that. What happened there, anyway? Hopefully, one of the other names she gave you worked out. I wish I did realtime, but I don't. So I can't help you personally. I actually don't even do any computer work. The lady you spoke to, Carol, does all my scoping and production work. She has only worked for me for 30 years, so we are still getting to know each other (g). The rates are pretty high here compared to other parts of the country, so I suppose it is difficult to cover a realtime job from out of state. I guess I didn't get involved in your negotiations, so I don't know what percentage or charges you were doing. I hope Carol was helpful, though, in helping you find someone. Jim Otterson is who I usually recommend for realtime, but he said he doesn't do livenote for some reason. Good luck! I hope everything works out for you.
  • Reid Bryce Robbins

I would have had a chance to meet you and buy you dinner! Oh, well, maybe next time when you get a long job you can come out. I am glad it worked out. If you get any non-realtime jobs, I am your guy (s). I can still give them a final at the end of the day, though. Carol will work on it while I am on the job (s)
  • Reid Bryce Robbins

Sorry it settled for you. Like you said, at least we get to know each other. I am sure more will come all of our ways.

Hey there, thanks for getting back to me, doing jobs on your own instead of "for the man" is a lot harder, I guess that's why you get paid more:) anyway, learning lots and meeting a lot of very cool people. one lady in pdx here replied to me and actually came over and showed me how to do word index and mini trans. I knew it was super easy, I guess I just needed a little help, anyway, thanks again!! How you doing down there?
