Hello Dominick, I am so inspired with your experience in this field. My goal is to be a freelance reporter. I am just about finish with school at LIBI. I just need four more test. I truely love this field, this is all I think about everyday. I went from four years in the Navy cargo handling, to four years working in a nursing home, to the BEAUTIFUL FIELD of COURT REPORTING. This is going to be the best change I ever made.

Hey, Dom! Nice to hear from ya! Yep, I'm still a youngin' but I'm gonna grab my pension from this city while I can. Our court administrator asked me to do per diem until end of year, so I remain the working retired one. But I love doing Realtime for the judge I'm with--she's a pleasure to work for!! Looking forward to different venue but of course still in reporting--and a little more time free-up to do more trips like China. What a blast that was. Happy Holidays to you and yours until we meet at the next seminar, convention, or world travel opportunity!!

Hi, Dom, Long time, no see.

It was thanks to you and your school in Hicksville that I got started in this field at the age of about 30, back in the late '70s.   I heard you had joined my alma mater, the Eastern District of NY, where I was a per diem 1978-1982.

I'd be very interested to get out to see your museum in Central Islip.  I thought the history of reporting started with Marcus Tulius Tyro of ancient Rome.  I didn't know it went back further than that, to ancient Assyria!  I live in Ocean County, NJ now, so it's not so easy to get out there, but I will.

    Best regards, your former student,
