    Hi, Stephanie!

Thanks for adding me as a friend! :) And CONGRATULATIONS on getting into the 140s! WOO HOO! CELEBRATION! I bet it feels great! Hehehe. :)

I go to Tri-Community, I'm at 160 wpm, and I work part-time (26 hours/week) at a law office as a legal assistant. I CAN'T WAIT TO FINISH SCHOOL! How long have you been going? I've been going to school... a little longer than I've wanted! :P Got distracted a few years back with working at my current law office OT to pay the bills, etc. Wish I hadn't, but oh well... can't change the past. All that means is NOW I have MORE PASSION THAN EVER to finish school ASAP and to finish well! Grr! Hehehe.

Hey, please check out my blog if you haven't yet -- stenonerd.blogspot.com -- where I chronicle my court reporting journey and where I hope to be a fun, helpful, informative resource for fellow reporters, both students and professionals. Thanks in advance!

Have a great weekend, Stephanie! Thanks again for the add! :)

    Hi, Stephanie!

If we can help it? We can DEFINITELY help it! I think you and I (and any other court reporting student!) CAN get out of school ASAP. If we want it badly enough, we'll make all the right sacrifices for it. I think we just gotta continue to show up everyday, do our best everyday, BELIEVE, and NEVER GIVE UP!

How's school? Me -- I have news to share! I think I may have passed my last 160 (I only needed one test to pass out of 160 and get into 180) today! I marked 4 wrong, and the error limit is 17! So it's pretty safe to say I passed, right? :) But I don't want to say I really did YET... since it's not official YET! I'll know by next week!

I'm so excited because if I did pass, that means I'm at 180, and I'll be moving up to a new classroom with a new teacher. This is the "higher speed" class. WOO HOO! I remember when I first started school that I thought I could NEVER type anything on that weird steno keyboard! HAHAHA! Just goes to show that with GOD's help we can do ANYTHING we put our minds to! Including court reporting! Hehehe.

Hope you're having a great day, Stephanie! Thanks for asking how I'm doing and allowing me to share the JOY! :D
