THANK YOU so much for all your kind, positive, uplifting words. You're such an encouragement. And WOW! You are to be commended! You had a CRAZY schedule! But I'm glad you got through it all with GOD's help! Gives me lots of hope that I too can finish ASAP and finish well! :)
Thank GOD my hands haven't been giving me any trouble lately. I really try to watch myself, and as soon as I sense any kind of discomfort or tingling in my hands/wrists/arms, I take a much needed break!
So now you're a scopist? How is that going?
One of the biggest reasons I chose court reporting is the flexibility! When I'm married and start having a family, I'm going to stay home with my kids to raise them. But I want to work at night or during the day hours (once they're in school). I want to do closed captioning from home and/or scoping work.
How did you get started as a scopist? I'd be very interested to know!
