So are you still with the Coast Guard? My brother-in-law was with the Coast Guard and was in Petaluma for a while. They live in Grandview, OH, now.
How did you pick court reporting? It's a very interesting, challenging, and informative career. It takes a lot of determination, a lot of patience, and a lot of intelligence, but it's worth it. When I went to school in Ohio at Bliss College, it was a two-year associate degree. But out here in California, there's no degree, and you go as long as you need to. I know lots of people that go to school for four or five years. Everyone progresses differently. So stick with it, and it'll pay off. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
